I heard Lonzo Ball is asking Jeremy Lin to tell his people to chill.

On a serious note though, I hope a guy like Yao Ming or even Marbury can put in a good word for the young men and to negotiate some leniency with some influential people.

I don't think you should need to brief people on not stealing from stores....I would think that would be common assumption that you don't steal/shoplift/rob people.

Did the coaches and administration brief these kids about what not to do in China? The first thing they should tell them is to not get into any trouble because they aren't protected by American laws.

If these bruhs really stole from three stores they don't deserve any leniency if we being honest. Why would you go out there and steal, it's almost bordering on some white privilege shyt :hhh:

I can't understand theft, I wonder if he'll do time since it was a crime in a host country.

Yeah in the LA Times they were saying they expected to be allowed to come home in 1 or 2 weeks. UCLA has a relationship with China, and I had read the State Dept was helping UCLA with the situation. Pac-12 representatives were working on it too.

The 3 will probably be banned from the country or something :yeshrug:
