good point...I've only caught 1 or 2 Japanese pro games and their league might be better than the CBL which like you say is crazy considering Japan doesn't invest nowhere near as much as China does

The defense in the CBA is awful. They make their big men bulk up so much that they become soft fat guys like a Bargnani or a Eddy Curry. They had some talented guard prospects, but they burned them out or in the case of someone like Guo Ailun, they blocked him from going overseas (he had a chance to go to college, or go to Greece). They let every team sign 3 foreigners, and they don't limit how much the foreigners get to play anymore - so every team plays their foreign talent 40 mins a game. I don't think they realize how much they've fukked up, just by letting a 40 year old Marbury and Shavlik Randolph take 20 shots every game.

Aite so they posted bail, they're under house arrest at the Hyatt, not really house arrest because they can walk around chill and what not, they just can't leave (flight risk), I'm going to assume one of them stole, but none wants to snitch. So the chinese will hold them out until one does, I am just assuming btw.

The team went on to Shanghai and they were left behind but shanghai isn't that far, maybe 2 hours away. They're in a nice city and a nice hotel, if it were me I'd invite some paags and order red wine until they got tired of guarding the front of the hotel with foreign reporters lingering around.
