False again. Maybe in america that is true, but in China a black american is seen with dollar signs above their head. Never been followed in my life, but I have been hassled to buy a gang of shyt. Heck I fired my old cleaning lady yesterday, got a new one today, and this trick tried to charge me 200 yuan, when I know damn well it's 140. I told her that and she just said 'hao hao hao' basically oh ok. Even worse in the poorer countries like Laos, India etc, you'll have kids follow for blocks begging you for money. No one begs thugs for money.

Also, you contradicted yourself, if they think you're a rapper, they will automatically associate you with having scores of money, thats well different than a crook. Now if you're from west china, they'll follow you around the store for sure.
