i know breh but 68k aint far from 100kI never had no silver spoon myself, but syaing "10k and im good" makes much more sense then your first comment of "set for life"
exactly.
i'm not saying artists should or shouldn't sign these deals. ultimately it's up to them to know if it will have ended up to be a good move or not when the dust settles and you add up the plus or minuses. my only beef is them complaining after the fact when they actually chose it as if the labels, agents, managers, etc were running a charity. i feel like it's entitlement.
i half agree. it all depends on your grind and resourcefulness. but in most cases you are right.Nah I agree with that 1000 percent. You can get in the game is just some artists want their pound of flesh back afterward as if they got hot independent. They need to think back to that day they was thrilled on myspace that Artist X even emailed them for a beat.
You gave your pound of flesh for a reason, to get to the masses. Otherwise you would be another UPS worker with a myspace page with beats from 2005 sitting. Some people call that integrity and go to UPS happily like yeah Big Label was fuccin with me but the dough was short. Others give that pound of flesh to get in the game.
To give a 2nd pound of flesh. Now that's where it gets iffy on if you fukking up or not. But fucc it rather than state it as fact I will say just my opinion you not getting nowhere without giving that first pound of flesh.
word she lucky to be aliveWaka's mom is the female birdman
She wasn't even paying Gucci b4 he got locked up
True but if you got a buzz then you've got a buzz, like Krit had sad once that he was offered a deal once but it wasn't the right one. If you're getting noticed by Gucci and Flock then you'll be alright. Remember he signed the deal with Deb, not Gucci. I'm sure them dudes wouldn't have taken it personal if he didn't sign the deal but still sold them beats. Why is a beat maker signing fukking deals like this anyway?Thank you man. This what I always say in this post as soon as the coli intellectual property experts come out the woodwork. HE WAS A NOBODY GOT FLOWN TO WAKA HOUSE AND PUT ON. IF HE ASKED FOR JEW-UNIT AND A PROPER LAWYER HE WOULDA BEEN DROPPED OFF AT GREYHOUND AND TOLD TO FIND HIS WAY HOME.
It's the same dudes everytime. "He shoulda had a lawyer woo woo." Yes we know Deb n Birdman got that rep but at the same time like homie said. You get flown to Mizay Island and it's hanging with Gucci riding round in Raris smoking loud living in a nice house or go back to McHicksville, VA, you would do the same thing and ride the wave.
Or if you insist you wouldn't, okay cool, you would be home back on youtube. It's really that simple 99% of the time.

The thing is if you look at it he said that in December 14. "Yeah I did this without YOU (Deb)" Now its December 15 and he saying Deb holding checks from August. YEAH cause in DEC 14 you was saying you was doing it without me okay so I'ma go to Bank of America and do it without you lol. He wouldn't have said nothing slick in December 14 unless they been beefing for a year.70k in 3 months .... he said that shyt like he ain't got none of it left
