B THAT iS, I THAT iS , G WHiZ

gee-whiz
(jē′wĭz′, -hwĭz′)
adj. Informal
Marked by or inducing a sense of wide-eyed wonder or excitement, as in response to an amazing achievement

Big was always finding unique and crazy ways to say or spell out his name. It was like he was always marketing himself with amazing adjective usage.

This is true. I was gonna make this point, but I wanted to keep it kinda funny.

But yeah, I think the line was more implied, rather than concrete.

People took it too literal. He's just describing what happens in real beef, not that he was actually going to do that or have it happen. The song is again about describing what beef is. I don't think anyone seriously listened to this song and thought Biggie was ordering hits on people's mothers at night.

"Beef is when your Moms ain't safe in streets."

Big wrote this line for Junior Mafia:

"Your grandma might wet on the church house steps"

Biggie was a writer with a creative mind. People need to view his work through the lens like they would of an author instead Big bars are like writing novels in Hip Hop Form.

gutta is a real person

Yes, but in the song it was metaphor not reality.

When I first heard that Gutta line I was like "what? Did I hear that right?"

:picard:

I've heard worse things from Brotha Lynch, but still, I wasn't expecting Biggie to just come out of nowhere with that

I could go on and on about how Big had the most advanced rap style ever. He's the most talented rapper ever. His writing is impeccable and can be analyzed on paper yet you can't fully speak of Biggie's style without looking at his delivery, which was arguably even more advanced than his writing. I'm talking everything from his pocket, to his flow, to his pronunciation, to the actual syllables inside of each word that he chose to stretch and emphasize.

He's the most advanced rapper ever.
