I know the OP was being funny but he's actually right with his statement. The whole point of that song was Biggie's saying his beef with Pac wasn't a "Real" Beef. It was more of a misunderstanding between two people. Biggie then does in entire song talking about what "Real" Beef is. You don't have to see gangster and mob movies to know Kids get kidnapped and killed from people wanting revenge on their enemies. Yes the song was a subliminal to Pac but Pac did say to Biggie:
"My 44 makes your all ya'll kids don't grow"(Hit em Up)
Basically making a direct threat saying he will murder all of Biggie's and Puffy Kids (Puffy and Big had kids at that point). But Big was wrong for implying what Gutta "Might" do? NaS also rapped about Kidnapping and torturing Kids:
"Have ya kids on the phone saying Please Daddy Pay it." (Live We Chose)
"Drug Habits, Love grabbing kids like yours. send you pictures in their draws with black eyes" (Nazareth Savage)
The Gutta line was just to say if the beef got real enough, then he knows mofo's ruthless enough to do that crazy ish. The "Over Da Bridge" and the way he emphasized the words felt like a small NaS subliminal as well considering he was going at NaS on LAD with "Kick in the Door" as well as on "Victory" with the:
"Destiny lays in my hands, gat lays in my waste"
The other NaS Subliminal on "What's Beef" was:
"N!ggas Grimey in the early 90's, far behind me. IT AIN'T HARD TO find me"
"What's Beef" is one of the best songs on "LAD", the strings felt like you listening to "Godfather" on wax. Yes the line is hard to hear but that's the subject matter. Biggie is "R-rated" music sometimes he does go into the NC-17 and XXX territory. If you guys want to listen to Disney Hip Hop Rated G then go head, I like my Hip Hop raw and uncut. NaS is the same way:
"I'm R-rated, never PG" - NaS
