This series was so dope to me back in the day. Without this there's no Soul Edge and without Soul Edge there's no Soul Caliber. It also birthed Tekken as well. First true 3D fighting series. Ended up getting overshadowed by Tekken etc.

Nope. Virtua Fighter didn't have the side step feature. Toshinden introduced this which ultimately made the game the first TRUE 3D fighter with 3D movements.

Nah. Virtua Fighter wasn't a true 3D fighter. Toshinden introduced side stepping which in turn made the player be able to move around the platform in true 3D fashion.
