man, there's too many to name....i'll throw out some:

- all dungeon family albums...except the the pa album and 2 goodie albums that came after still standing...they had a song or 2, but the whole albums weren't quality like the rest of what df was putting out

- the 2 cee-lo cds before he created that group with danger mouse, knawls barkley

- the young bloods 3rd (name slipping my mind)...it had the single 'presidental' on it....the first 2 albums had bigger hits, but the 3rd one was the most complete....'hater proof' is my shyt to cruise to...

- all ugk albums after the first 2 'supertight' and 'too hard to swallow'....they are good albums, but unless you southern, you might not appreciate them like that...

- all ti's albums, except the one they released while he was in jail...

- since I brought up ti, i'll mention luda...all his albums except red light district and battle of the sexes....had a couple hot songs, but albums werent complete all the way through like his others...on a side note: ti and luda are perfect examples of a better rapper vs a better artist....luda is a better rapper than ti, but ti is a better artist, which would explain why his albums tend to be better than luda's....but that's another topic

- more include (without getting too in depth): ball & g albums, rap-a-lot albums, tela, cm albums, trick albums, no limit albums, field mob albums, pimp & the gangsta, petey Pablo albums, jd albums (more so the 1st), little brother 1st 2 albums, project pat 1st 2 albums, lil jon & the eastside boys 'crunk juice'

If there is one album that introduced me to Texas Rap, it's gotta be this Yungstar album. It wasn't my first because I had that Big Pokey Hardest Pit In Da Litter and Lil Keke The Commission, but this was the one that made me really pay attention to the rap coming out of Texas beside the mainstream artists like UGK, Geto Boys etc.

C-Murder - Life or Death

Master P ad libs and rambling in the background is legendary on this song...esp on Bun B verse!

La Chat - Murder She Wrote

:dj2:

I killed this song in the Cutlass Supreme back in the day!

and i'm gonna cheat a little bit...I know these next few i post are Midwest groups...but they deserve to be mentioned b/c i always associated them with the South

The Dayton Family was so raw...I remember seeing the album and was like :manny: fukk it...why not! Then i got it and whew i was like :obama:

Top Authority They were from Flint Michigan...man i thought they were from Texas for the longest...lol. This was my favorite joint...i would've never heard it if it wasn't for my cousin who was in the Army back then stationed out that way.
