Kinda put me in a weird spot after being there for 3 years, had a tough time telling professor I was leaving
He was a little despondent, but kept it official. A lot of guys at the gym are switching, so I’m sure I wasn’t the only one he had the convo with.
what's so special about this new guy
I’ve just trained with him 90% of the time, so I felt like my loyalty was more etched with him than the gym itself.
Can he beat the coach
I’ve seen him win in situational training, but I’ve never seen them go at it for a full roll/competition level.
It's your gi. Wear what you want.I kind of wish certain GI colors were more normalized throughout traditional schools (I get that it's gaudy to have an over-the-top design or neon colors though).
The look of maroon/burgundy GIs and tan/sand GIs is pretty nice to me. I'll probably get an off-white one at some point, only quality one I've seen available is from Sanabul (might cop if any discounts pop up).
A lot of gyms only allow white/blue/black (IBJJF standard) or only let you wear school-branded gear.
I see. Personally I just have 2 white gis and a black but if your gym dont care who cares.
