My sch. Changed a lil bit in the last week, or so and I couldnt make it to my gym to train, so I've been training with guys I work with after work.

I thought rolling after work was enough, but I went back to class Monday night man I was super fukking tired.

Did a 6am this morning and honestly I'm still not recovered from Monday night.

Imma have 2 really turn it up over the nx month to make sure I'm good for Naga.

Got Copa 2 weeks h4 Naga too, so that should help.

And Naga didnt have the absolutes broken down to belt rank like I mentioned up above, that was Copa.

I woke up at 224 yesterday which is great for Me. I want to hit NAGA at about 220, then possibly Newbreed a month later at 214, or less.

Youre probably a little burnt out bro. No issues with taking a few days off to reset, but you know your body best. Do what you feel is right

It was filmed in two parts, so I just made a quick edit of the match.

No video on the 2nd match. But he killed me. One of those guys that's not super heavy, but hard af to move.

Went to NS on me most of the match. I did escape a few times, but he was real quick to recover. Got into side control once. I went to trap his arm and he spun out and stood up. It was our 3rd stand up of the fight.

He did try isolating an arm once, but I defended it and he quickly let it go and went back to NS. He finished off with knee on belly and won 12-0.

Gordan Ryan taking a hiatus over some stomach issues. They say he has to wait 48 hours before competitions to eat.

Hopefully we get a Galvao match, one day.

Any of you guys use the punch choke?

It became a top 3 favorite move right before the pandemic. Everyone thinks it’s an Ezekiel but it’s closer to a Von Flue with a slight assist from the 2nd hand to finish it off.

I’ve seen it used especially well on upper belts. They think it’s a bullshyt move since they think it’s a nogi Ezekiel and I’ve seen a few go to sleep from it.

Good highlight of the move in action.

Win a tourni match like this, with a gi
We can only do this on trusted training partners and have to do it very soft in class. Really it's kinda frowned upon and kind of opens up anything goes rolling

I thought Gordon transitioned into MMA completely. I know he signed with One

Been going for about 2 month's now and def getting better except when I stay for back-to-back classes and get exhausted and can't escape mount.

My coach wants me to compete one day he says. He told me to watch Lucas Lepri on youtube since we have similar builds , so I've been looking at his stuff recently. Still have trouble escaping and figuring out what to do on side control or mount when I can't get arm bar or kimura. tapping or frustrating a lot of the white belts except when I have to roll some Brock Lesner white boys or people who do wrestling roll with me :ld:

I can not pass a higher person's mount for shyt if I'm standing

A couple of higher belts do ask me if I did wrestling before too though :sas1:

On day's I don't go and I go to the gym I definitely will be trying at home yoga or stretching before I do squats and deadlifts. This thing is about quick reflexes and loose limbs I'm starting to realize and getting the hips loose. I had someone in a triangle and because I did calf raises in the gym the day before and didn't stretch, my calf cramped and swelled up like grapefruit for like 3 minutes :to:

Nice man, if you like nogi you can hit a competition in nogi to compete in the less than 6 months of training bracket.

With Gi, as a new Whitebelt, you may end up facing guys that's been training for 9+ months, or so.
