The Odum of Ala Igbo
Hail Biafra!
Isn't the southeast having issues with the herders too.
Yes - if you scroll above you’ll see the Ohanaeze Ndiigbo response to Miyetti Allah’s (the terrorist herdsmen group) threat

I'm used to seeing stories about racial attacks, or violence related to politics, but I have a hard time digesting ethnic or religious conflicts/killings. In Haiti, coup d'etat is part of the fabric of the country, so I'm desensitized to stories about conflicts based on politics. I don't think I will ever get desensitized to "religious" violence among Black people.
I guess I just have a Western Hemisphere viewpoint on the matter.Interesting perspective. As someone from The Zoo, I'm used to "black on black" violence due to ethnicity or religion. In fact, I see it as normal. It was only 20 years ago that Europeans were killing each in the Balkans over religion. Less than a century ago, Germans were trying to wipe out Slavs from the Earth. It is the wind, the rain for me.

Irish are at each other's throats in Ireland over longtime religious conflicts. Those same people come over here and don't translate that violence towards each other over here.
The other thing that throws me off is that the violence I'm familiar with is tied to a visible goal. Ultimately that goal is control of politics or to pass or block a law.
Most recently, govt tried to pass a drastic fuel tax in Haiti. Some of the people spoke in the universal language of the country, VIOLENCE. The tax was repealed.
The violence in the video I posted , which lead to the deaths of those people. I've heard several possible motives for the actions. What do you think was the specific goal of those attacks?
Wait....why haven't the Igbos gotten into the cattle industry themselves. Source, raise and sell their own cattle. Create an industry similar to that of France or the US. If you can meet your own demand within your community then the Fulani have to look elsewhere to ply their trade.
