I hope to visit 9ja with my sister this Christmas season. I have not been since I was 6 years old. These realities are discouraging.

:damn: Damn man, hurry up and get on ground. You gotta get a first hand experience. I was there for high school (Ogun State) and go at least once if not twice a year. G

I'm going this September with my dad, I'm gonna travel all over South East then end it with trips to lagos and abuja.

This is a good plan. When I go I hit up PH (where I'm from), Abuja (where my family lives) and Lagos (where I went to school/have my network). Occasionally I'll do Enugu, Anambra or Imo if there's a function to attend (wedding, party, etc).

Other than that, no lie, I prefer being in either PH, ABJ or Lag.

Lasgidi December 2019 finna be :ahh:

My dad is from Abia State and my mom is from Enugu. I expect to spend most of my time in Enugu and some time in Lagos.

My mom's family is well off for 9ja standards. My dad's side is villagers. I just need some hands on experience of home. My sisters have been visiting yearly for almost the past decade.

I've been derailed my new jobs and other issues. My wife is from Akwa Ibom so when I visit with her I will spend time there too.

If you ever get into a spot where you're financially straight in America, it might be worth checking out the IT/Tech space in Lagos. There are some tailwinds within that space, especially for well qualified engineers and program/product managers. If you have a remote job then you could possibly do 6 months in Lagos to test the waters. Drop some capital in the private sector and go from there.

I actually work as a Release Train Engineer which is a Program Manager in Scaled Agile. I also own an LLC that I use to train Agile certifications. You mind telling me more about those opportunities or pointing me in the right direction?
