Bro, what I didn't know, I do now know. Simply reading.

Ok, so you have Biafra now, then what? What is the plan to push the nation forward with the current leadership? If the current Igbo leadership cannot even cohesively drum up sound regional development policy the what makes you think it would all of a sudden happen in Biafra.

Please, let's face facts. The South and the East need to crawl before they walk. The corrupt politicians in Aso Rock are the same ones in Imo and Enugu and Rivers.

The South and the East need to take their opportunities when offered to them.

When GEJ was in power should have been the time to loosen the federal agencies that control the ports, roads and rails. The 2nd Niger Bridge should have been completed. More autonomy for states to fund and maintain their own rails and ports, in addition to their roads.

That's why IPOB rejects the current Igbo leadership class...

They're largely corrupt, and insipid.

That's why governors of Igbo states were agreeing with the Federal Government to clamp down on IPOB.

Please sir, the politics are more complicated that you've put forward.

For those who are skeptical at theories that: Lagos is Nigeria's only port by design to serve the interests of the Yoruba elites; Nigeria has no power because elites make a killing off selling generators; Boko Haram is funded by Northern elites etc etc. - how can you not believe that but also see how generals are stealing from the soldiers in terms of pay and supplies. The same soldiers who are defending the "nation" against Boko Haram.

Nigeria is an evil country! Nigeria is a wicked! Nigeria delenda est!

@The Odum of Ala Igbo the GDP per capita sharply rose from $1098 to $3227 from 2009-2014

Then it fail from 2014 to 2017 from $3227 to $1986.

SO to sum it up it had to have been a combination of factors right? Drop in oil prises, instability, Boko Haram, something!? But thst was also a sharp increase from 2009 to 2014, moreso then any other African nation.

In comparison, Equatorial Guinea, the "richest" country in SSA, had a gdp per captia of $19245 in 2014 which was comparable to western countries, than it dropped to $9200 in 2016. Something happened in 2016 which made these gdp's drop. Like a change in oil prices since both EG and Nigheria is dependent on oil.
