Cause I have sympathy for Igbos and tired of christians being slaughtered by muslims.
Nigeria is in a tough situation because the political elites of the North and Lagos identify more with Dubai without caring about their people AT all unlike Dubai.

but yeah.. I think a period of serious global re-alignment is coming down. A bunch of countries that currently exist.. won't by the mid century.

His claim sounds pretty baseless, the Emir is a sharp man.

I think Sanusi chose to become a monarch because he knew he'd be harder to remove, unlike being a politician. Easier to speak truths if you're in a secured position.
Did he choose or did he accept it? If he is to get deposed it will echo his 'man of the people' image and family history, he will then be 'forced' to run for office when people start calling for it.

He had to be supported by Northern aristocrats in competition with other members of the royal family for the role of Emir. I can't remember a deposed Emir in my lifetime. The last time that happened, I think, it was during military rule by the dictators.
Can you remember an Emir in your lifetime talking like this?
