:mjlol:

Steen does 450 splashes. Cena cant even pull off a legdrop without botching.
what can I say bruh. im not a fan. he's very talented and he got some ill moves but I don't buy the character. and the fact that the smarks hail him as the second coming only makes it worse.

It has nothing to do with the character. You dont buy him cause he's not a bodybuilder.

There's still guys like Ryback if youre into that, but the industry is changing. None of the young, upcoming guys are roided freaks. Its quickly becoming the case that to be a huge star you need to actually be impressive in the ring and be able to tell a story and have mic skills and a good character and everything else. Big muscles comes after all that, especially after Vince kicks the bucket.

The era of the Ultimate Warriors and the Lex Lugers is over and aint coming back anytime soon.

and yet none of these guys are huge stars or play compelling characters.

there is a reason no one watches anymore and the state of pro wrestling is not what it once was. these indie darlings are not the answer.

:heh: you do realize that the two most popular wrestlers WWE has had since Rock and SCSA were "Indie Darlings"..... right

compelling characters fall onto the creative team not the wrestlers themselves

the day of larger than life is over, fans of today simply want athleticism.

Wrestling being mainstream again doesn't mean it'll automatically make it better.

no one is worse than these anti-smark dumbasses.

dude, you're talking about indie wrestlers, using wrestling lingo like "drew" in reference to a wrestler's success, and talking about how believable a bunch of choreographed moves are. you're a smark.

Fans want athleticism then why isn't dolph ziggler the biggest star in wrestling? Booking?

Aren't the 80's and 90's, when wrestling was maknstream, UNANIMOUSLY regarded as a greater era than the current one?

if the audience were to double in size over the next few years wouldnt that be kind of an indication that they are putting out a higher quality product?

Lol u guys keep sayin "the fans want this" and "the fans want that" and all this other dumb shyt the WWE does and yet nobody is watching. we've been in a "transitional" period for like 10 years now.

Could u IMAGINE where they would be without the part timers? Could you imagine this current roster the last few manias without Rock/brock/taker... u know, actual legends???

I am definitely a smark.

But I am a mark first.

Fans aren't necessarily in control of the direction the company wants to go in so can't even try that one

3-4 million people watching every week, wouldn't exactly call that no one.

What transitional period? its quite clear WWE has found the direction they wanna be in, just because you don't like it doesn't mean that isn't whats happening.

Damn near every muscle head Vince has tried to put as the big draw lately has flopped, with the exception of Cena and look how thats turned out in the long run. Fans rather see a smaller Daniel Bryan have his spot.

u sound like these guys that defend modern day hip hop. if you can't see the bar has been lowered then I don't know what to tell you. the quality and the talent just isn't there.

Let's see if anybody knows who neville is in 20 years. Or sami zayn, or Kevin Owens, or any of these interchangeable stunt men the smarks clamor for.

Daniel Bryan the smark neckbeard jesus got the biggest babyface push since john cena heading into mania and the needle did not move.

I repeat, did NOT move.
