What's been the difference between my family members and friends who've been caught up in the system and I? I would say mainly luck. I've been extremely fortunate in my life and I have no problem admitting that. I could easily be another "statistic" so to speak because that is what the environment I grew up in produces. I've been in lay offs, and from what I remember everyone got the hammer, it just appeared like we got hit harder because there weren't many blacks in the company to begin with, so percentage wise, laying off 2 blacks meant 25% were laid off. It's a numbers game. We're not a big population but we some how manage to have a big representation.

Whites use ghetto blacks as the example to judge the whole race all of the time and use it to base their judgement of many blacks who aren't even drug dealers, robbers etc. even police use that to racially profile blacks and harass them and bait them so they can jail them and get them a record which lowers chance of employment.

More blacks are being born in the ghetto right now which lowers their chance of success.

Then we look at statistics which are taken from blacks in ghettos and more generalization occurs.

Then we look on sites where whites diss blacks, make fun of blacks and downplay the issues that we face yet magically show concern for others outside of the US.

Once I became a trainer, soon as I seen a handful of black people come in actin a fool, I have to pull them off to the side and break them off with etiquette I don't blame them however, this sort of thing starts at home. African parents, which is typically a 2 parent home, are by far better in raising their children on acting right and manners.

Many guys I know personally who lived in the ghetto who were in the wrong place at the wrong time and got killed or jailed by defending themselves from those who gave up after living in the ghetto and succumbing to the shytty conditions there. I myself had many close chances from being born and having to live in dangerous areas. We all know how fukked your employment chances are with a record.

Many guys I know ran into bad cops who bullied them into reacting negatively and threw em in jail for some bullshyt charge.

I don't know what rock in the ghetto you been under but you need to open your eyes. There is a reason that there aren't much blacks at the top and your denial isn't helping.

It happens all the time, to women, hispanics, even asians (try being an asian actor). Most jobs are obtained through networking, a friend recommendation etc. but try to sit here and post a pic of white friends and people start...
when in reality, alienating yourself doesn't help, obv the thing you'd want to do is get MORE white friends. "hey Jim you know anyone hiring, ask your pops, slide my application in and give me a good word" You'd want to network with the people that ARE getting employment. (Most important, when you get the job , ACT right, act as if you got the image of the whole race on your shoulder, work hard and disciplined. if you slack off, they will be hesitant to hire another black person)

I knew that coming in, difference is, instead of laying over and calling victim, I got clever and figured out a way. Just befriend a shyt load of people, and eventually ask them if they're employer is hiring. Sure enough they gave me a recommendation. I could have hung out with the africans, but they're at the lower schools and I don't want to sit around collectively complaining about not being able to get a better job cause I don't have white skin. They alienate themselves for whatever reason. I didn't. That's the difference. Its a tactic many jews use as well. NETWORK and get in good with EVERYONE. That's if you wanna eat of course, if you wanna be coo, and "fukk those cacs" then be my guest.
