Let's talk about the epidemic of racism in gaming

I've seen hundreds of racists incidents since the original Xbox days with the Xbox Live Starter Pack that came with the headset.

It's easy to say or type racist shyt from the safety of mom's basement. I don't think its as bad in PC gaming only because mods boot people with the quickness but it's crazy.

I think it depends on the genre of game too. I think shooters bring out the ass in people.

I only experienced it when I had a 360. I have a PS4 but I don't play video games as much as I used to because I don't really have the time but when I do I usually play games that don't really have multiplayer.

It's always amusing seeing cacs have nervous breakdowns when a game has a black protagonist.

I just mute, block, and report if I see/hear anything.

There's no point being goaded into that. I've played games for 25+ years. Raged a million times over, and have never felt the need to bring somebodies genetic makeup into it. That's a response I'd expect from a 2nd grader.

I don't even use mics anymore.... You can't even always turn it off completely in some games like gta online sometimes voices flood through even if your not playing with a squad or chat... shyt is fukking frustrating....

I don’t use public voice chat. I only chat in private parties. Never have to deal with the racist nonsense.
