Village was start of his fall. Didnt like it. Brody been ass since it too.
village was alright it had appeal and the story of the village was an old story and it was a nice revision.

lady in the water was fukking god awful.

after earth was good, people are just hating man. there was nothing wrong with that movie.

I liked Signs, Unbreakable, The Village and even Lady in the Water(should have been marketed as being more so a kid's film).

I still give dude credit for being creative when it comes to film. I don't really hate the dude like so many people seem to. It's like so what he made a few films that weren't that good, and? Not everyone hits home runs all the time.

Unbreakable is still one of top 5 or 10 super hero films to me.

I hate how much hate this dude got/gets now. Like people kept expecting his films to be as big as The Sixth Sense was(which I still haven't seen). I still think he has some very original ideas and concepts for his films and is probably one of the most creative writers/directors who never actually gets any credit for it.

Also I still think the Happening should have promoted as a modern B-Movie that you aren't supposed to take seriously. His movies all suffer from this, they presented The Village like it was a straight up horror in the trailers but it's really more of a romantic drama.

Thats where my dislike for him comes from, his movies are always misleading, I go in expecting one thing based off the trailer and get something else when I watch... and the movies are so bad its like they are parodies or not meant to be taken seriously

And for the guy that said AE wasnt that bad:usure: I thought it was and I was looking foward to seeing it.. It was a misuse of will smith and nothing exciting happened. It was also a very weak plot.....

I think the studios wanted the trailers and hype for The Village to seem like it was a horror film.

I wish that weren't the case because people think its a bait and switch like the director/writer wanted to fool them. The movie had suspenseful and tense part but it was a drama. Should have been marketed like one.

Unbreakable is still one of my favorite super-hero movies...might even be in my top 5 of super-hero movies.

To be fair though you can't blame him for how the studio markets it. Once he shoots the film, the studio hires a company to cut the trailer and they're going to cut it based on how the studio wants to market it and a lot of the times, the directors have little to no input on how it's marketed seeing as how studios have marketing departments

Swing away :banderas:

Lady in the water was horrible trash. Too bad Paul G had to be in that :wow:

Last air bender, I never watched the anime so I wasn't as pissed as other people how they apparently messed up casting. But it was still trash.

After earth I liked actually. I thought it was going to be horrible after reading about it on here but it wasn't that bad.

Unbreakable is great though.

Unbreakable and Signs both hold up really well to me. And to be real I've never seen sixth sense and before you hit me with the :ohhh: Lemme explain: it wasn't something I was interested in at 13 but the next year when it was out on video I'd already heard the ending and heard so much about it I didn't feel the need to see it. I know I need to one day tho just because. In fact I may do that tonight breh
Damn bro you've never seen the sixth sense???
