primerica isnt a pyramid scheme...they sell actual life insurance....

im assuming yall know that pyramid schemes are illegal...and dont sell anything...

yeah they do sell something, but its the same MLM scheme that 5 linx is. I went to a meeting like in 2001. and hit them with the :shaq2:

I wasn't thirsty at the time cuz I already had a full time gig.

I knew primerica was horseshyt cuz they were owned by citigroup at the time which is one of the biggest companies in the world, yet asking me for like $400 up front to pay for some training or some shyt.

WTF I look like paying a job outta pocket for them to train me? that's a cost ur employer is supposed to incur.

that's like the tahitian noni scheme. they sell them shytty ass drinks, but its still the same principle as all this other stuff we talkin bout.

You can't be this ignorant.....then again, maybe you can, millions of people have signed up for these schemes every day.:leon:

The fact that they have a product they sell doesn't mean it's not a pyramid scheme (which is NOT illegal, btw...don't get it confused with a ponzi scheme, which is very much so illegal)....that product is just used to dupe people into thinking they're a regular company.

From the primerica thread where another confused soul thought he understoodthat company:
Clearly you're not, cuz you still don't recognize what it is they're really selling or how it's not like AFLAC or Farmer's at all. You're not selling insurance, that's just the product used for the okie doke, what you're really selling is a job.

Anybody with an ounce of business acumen knows that "flooding the market" with an infinite number of salesmen is not a viable way to sell ANY product.....unless you're making money off of each salesmen, which is what Primerica (and all these pyramid schemes) do. Real companies that are trying make money off insurance have a brand to protect, so they can't just have any idiot our there selling it. They only want qualified salesmen who, even if they don't make the sale, don't represent the company in a bad light so they don't fukk up future sales. These pyramid schemes will 'hire' ANYBODY, cuz once that person is 'hired' the real sale is done.....any sales of "products" that this person makes are just icing to Primerica. They'd much rather you signed up a new employee rather than sell one of their "products"...cuz that's a dead end.

If you still can't see it, then you're dumber than the King of Queen's audience:

Unless you think Doug and Arthur simply signed up to be a competitor to Brita :rudy:

Russ sells the prepaid "Rush" card. How can this come as a suprise?

The extent of my knowledge regarding the "Rush" card doesn't go beyond the commercials....what's so negative about it? I always thought it was just like a VISA gift card.

My younger brother was getting paid nasty doing MLM when Earthlink was starting to get popular but once it died down he eventually stopped because he wasn't seeing any real money anymore...

Not necessarily MLM but I have 2 friends that do NOTHING but Herbalife... they travel city to city selling it & doing fitness classes at parks, etc & 1 makes between $8,000-$12,000 a month... yes, a MONTH... & the other isn't as successful & brings in about $3,000-$5,000 monthly...

I've seen the checks... it's amazing... :whew:

this MCA and Dreamtrips bullshyt is at an all time high out here in NYC... got about 50 nikkas in one small ass house holding up a sign saying "you should be here" :rudy:

worldventures is another one...imma post up the messages this nikka Kept sending me on fb so that y'all can see how deluded these cats are

I was just about to post this!

One of my friends just got involved in primerica and world ventures. She keeps posting pictures holding up signs talking about "YOU SHOULD BE HERE". World Ventures has "training" events that she goes to. It looks more like a pep rally than training. Last month she kept posting, 'I'm about my business in 2013' 'Bless my business partners'. bytch, that shyt isn't a business, you're just getting took having to pay for "training" and monthly fees. She's fukking gullible. She just got involved with a guy that's knee deep in this shyt. They really think they're doing something.

A real company doesn't have you pay for training. They send you to training that they pay for.

People paid $300 to go to that.

i was looking at the messages dude kept sending on fb, and I got really irritated, I thought dude was a solid black person, then when I stated that it was a pyramid scheme, nikka had the nerve to insult my intelligence.

I'll put the images up tonight, I'm busy right now.

You guys consider those direct(face to face) marketing jobs where you go from store to store offering people products/renovation/etc a multi level marketing scam? The money you make per week is directly correlated with how many people you get to sign up. The people who close the deal(your managers) make the biggest cut.

They promise you'll rise up to manager in no time.

shyt felt fishy so I bailed. Fast.

I had my experience with CutCo. Looking for a summer job in college, saw an ad in the paper about make more than a $11 an hour. Went for an interview. Knew something was up automatically...it was in a lil apartment made to be an office in brooklyn. Had a poster outside acting like a buisness sign. Went there and it was a bunch of kids like be sitting in a room.

They had all these fake trophies and top earner pictures and supposed income the made. The told me you would be selling knives door to door. And I'm like who would actually buy these knives ???...who needs $150 worth of knives , willing to purchase from a stranger at ya door there is no legit Knife market lol. Then dude showed me what i assume is his typical sells pitch and cut a penny with the knife.

Said he would talke everyone into his office at once and let you know if you the job after all the questions and stuff was done. Called me into his weak office that couldnt open the door all the way because it was so tiny. He said you got the job and gave me the paper and said to call this number so I can setup the purcahse of the kniife kit cause I need to have to actually work for them lol. The kicker was he said not to tell anybody as i left the office I got the job cause some people would get turned down lmao. In reality everybody got the job but he wanted to create the illusion that this was exclusive.
