Yet its considered a "pile of shyt" by most people. I think this is just a meme that people continue to pass along without ever analyzing their words. If this album dropped today most cats would rate it 4.5....maybe even 5/5

who actually let that pass through the selection process without a remix or alternate is a jackass. That version is a track we should just be getting now in 2012 as a lost or unreleased track. Also, Nastradamus was the typical weak single that A&R's was pushing out at that time trying to gain radio play. I still say that a strong street first single here and a few revisions to this album and Nas' career couldve went to a different level ala Jay. This happened to a lot of cats at this time, so many labels were concerned with radio play that they screwed up a lot of albums.
