They see me trolling, they hating.....
Yet its considered a "pile of shyt" by most people. I think this is just a meme that people continue to pass along without ever analyzing their words. If this album dropped today most cats would rate it 4.5....maybe even 5/5 :obama:

1. "The Prediction"
2. "Life We Chose"
3. "Nastradamus"
4. "Some of Us Have Angels"
5. "Project Windows" (featuring Ronald Isley)
6. "Come Get Me"
7. "Shoot 'Em Up"
8. "Last Words" (featuring Nashawn)
9. "Family" (featuring Mobb Deep)
10. "God Love Us"
11. "Quiet nikkas" (featuring Bravehearts)
12. "Big Girl"
13. "New World"
14. "You Owe Me" (featuring Ginuwine)
15. "The Outcome"

Bold are all dope to me. exclude the first and last tracks since they're interludes

Takeover never even mentioned Nastradamus tho...lol

I guess they just had to shuffle through Nas catalogue to figure out what LP Jay was talking about and all decided it was Nastradomus due to that wack ass single, Nasty Nas to esco to escbobar now he is Nastradomus :scusthov:

Nas's weakest LP would be another artist's masterpiece tho

C/S 4 1 mic joints and the rest was 2 mics and 1 or 2, 3 mics. So the average is below 2.

The first 9 songs were all dope (except for Nastradamus)
big girl was decent (I'm probably the only one who feel that way)

New World was cheesy
Quiet nyggas was annoying

Nastradamus has some of Nas' best and worst songs. I Am is even better. Dude has the greatest catalog in rap imo.

It depends on who is listening, not everyone ranks it near the bottom of his catalogue...some rank it towards the middle or even higher. It has some weak songs but like H.L. said...he has some of his best. Family is unquestionably one of my fav Nas songs of all time. Actually Nastradamus was not a wack song, its that corny hook :mindblown: who actually let that pass through the selection process without a remix or alternate is a jackass. That version is a track we should just be getting now in 2012 as a lost or unreleased track. Also, Nastradamus was the typical weak single that A&R's was pushing out at that time trying to gain radio play. I still say that a strong street first single here and a few revisions to this album and Nas' career couldve went to a different level ala Jay. This happened to a lot of cats at this time, so many labels were concerned with radio play that they screwed up a lot of albums.

But I loved Shoot Em Up.

An ominous song using a Christmasy beat. :jawalrus:

I concur with the rest though.

Shudders at remebering Nas on TRL with those 3D glasses :whoo::dead:
