Per the Observer Newsletter report on Graves’ comments, saying there are people backstage in WWE who, while they understand his statements, believe they should’ve been made in private. The report also indicates that people backstage in WWE are saying that Graves is “more replaceable than he thinks he is.”

And I think firing Corey over petty shyt would cause a much bigger Backlash than the WWE thinks. He’s easily the most liked announcer.

I wouldn’t call it petty, it was very defiant.

And while I might agree it would be better said in private, I can also appreciate calling out the Saudis publicly for having such antiquated world views.

WWE is just looking the other way for money...i wouldn't agree to have shows there unless they agreed to let us do the show like we always do and if they don't like it they can suck it

:ld: on Graves. Just the best out of a bad bunch. I think he has gradually become worse, now I don't know if that is because of Vince at the other end, or he has completely stopped caring and just cashing the cheque.

But last week at GRR. I think it was the Jinder match, where there was a botch and instead of covering it up, he went out of his way to highlight it, which I thought was petty and unprofessional tbh. He could of said well scouted to avoid the move, or sold the move, but he went with the mark response.

Also doesn't help that he has taken on the JBL role of being 50/50 on who he likes between the faces and heesl, be one or the other not both.

A new report The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestlingInc.com) indicates that Graves might have some heat within the WWE over those comments.

Graves wrote in the message, “A drink to remember that no [matter] how bad WE think we have it, at least our women have rights and we all have freedom of expression. #ifyougetityougetit” You can see the full Instagram post below.

Per the Observer Newsletter report on Graves’ comments, saying there are people backstage in WWE who, while they understand his statements, believe they should’ve been made in private.
