Uno's pizzeria is the reason why people think of Chicago and pizza because of the signature deep dish but outside of that, that city isn't known for pizza.

The only time I went to unos was when it was in Crestwood(suburbs)...and Hollywood Park had better pizza

Some of the best pizza in NY is Upstate or on Long Island where there is strong Italian contingent. One of the best slices I ever ate was in Syracuse.

Yeah, I've traveled upstate a couple of time and Syracuse does have a few good pizza spots.
