I just finished binge watching ECW. I sat on the bed for several minutes in silence as One Night Stand ended, pondering on how the company could've been had they managed to hang on through sheer luck in 2001. Rhyno as ECW champ, RVD seemed like he was going to feud with him for the belt. The company was full of talented guys like Corino, Tajiri, Jerry Lynn, Kid Kash, Nova and most likely were going to have ROH OGs there too. They were starting to get consistent ppvs and even managed to run the Hammerstein Ballroom three times. Had ECW survived life would be drastically different today.

In another timeline, ECW and WCW would still be alive alongside with WWE, but the cost is no Impact, MLW and ROH being the successors of ECW and WCW. One thing that won't change is NWA fukking up like how they are today.
