How would Westbrook's "triple doubles" help the Lakers at all?

Would you rather have Westbrook taking shots rather than Bron/AD?
Would you rather have Westbrook distributing the ball rather than Bron?
Would you rather have Westbrook taking rebounds away from Laker bigs?


If everyone stays healthy and Bron is still Bron at 37, I think this team might work. But it only works with really smart offensive sets AND Westbrook playing really smart, which is a huge if. Basically the offense has to be Bron and Westbrook continually driving and creating disruption, then kicking to Bron/AD/Westbrook cutting to take advantage of disruption.

Defense and shooting could be a real problem tho if they can't fill out well. You'd really want shooters if you're wasting a guard spot on Westbrook, but you need defenders too cause Westbrook ain't doing that and Bron is getting old af.

I think he's a great get for a non-contender and an otherworldly questionable one for someone who is. His best contributions are...LeBron gets to rest and they won't have an energy problem. Feel like there might've been someone out there that could do that NOT making $40m, but Rob knows best
