I love it. Bron stans invented this super team/asterisk title rheteric against GSW and what have we had since?

LeBron wins the only true asterisk title in NBA history and now another superteam :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

The narratives y'all make up in your heads are :dwillhuh:

So now it's BRON fans that invented "superteam" and "asterisk title"? You literally believe that?

Probably money wise, but not no damn player wise. Russ is a better player than 90% of that list

No. In 2022 pretty much everyone on that list and probably some others are more likely to be a + factor in your team winning the title than Russ is.

Did you see in May when I posted Westbrook's playoff #'s for the last 8 seasons? Here's the comment with #'s updated:

Westbrook has now lost 24 of his last 32 playoff games going back to 2016 WCF. 25 of 34 if you count the play-in games.

Last 8 postseasons:

FG% are 41%, 42%, 40%, 39%, 40%, 36%, 42%, and now 33%.

3pt %'s are 22%, 28%, 32%, 26%, 36%, 32%, 24%, and right now 25%.

Turnovers are 4.0, 4.4, 4.3, 6.0, 5.2, 4.6, 3.8, and now 4.2.

And add in shoddy defense and suspect chemistry too.

I think it's possible the Lakers "can" make it work. But only if Westbrook plays completely differently than he has for the last half-decade. He's gonna have to continue creating disruption but without all the stat-padding and while limiting bad shots and ugly mistakes.

Did you before this postseason when I posted Westbrook's playoff #'s for the last 7 seasons?

Only 12 people on that list I’m clearly saying better than Westbrook.

Ya'll always shyt on Bron for his GM capabilities. He goes for the big names instead of the best players/best fit. Lowry would have been a better addition than Westbrook.

You don't understand why a 37 year old isn't the favorite when there's another team of three all-NBA players in their prime?
Even at his age Bron is still better than anyone on the Nets and his second option is arguably a top 5 player

A player of Bron's caliber should never be an underdog

Westbrook will be the 3rd option in LA so I think you can mostly throw those numbers out. What were they like with KD and Harden?

Only thing super about their team is a super bad spacing. They need Pelinka to come up with shooters now badly. I get it Westbrook can do LeBron job while he's resting, but you can't win it all while shooting so bad. Them 2020 Lakers were hitting shots.

RW been on four teams in four years man hard headed as hell if he plays right for Bron then he a hoe because he cost KD rings then he wanna scowl like a bytch man has been in a circle around the league SEATTLE WASHINGTON then OKC then HOUSTON then Washington DC now LOS ANGELES it’s a big circle like a big zero which is what he is and his ring count is going to be zero.

This is Lebron exit strategy to leave the Lakers he can say AD broke down unexpectedly and Russ did the same and since they blew their money no way to rebuild. Lebron James to Broadway to play his final role in the play called “ King James”
Russ Never Played In Seattle….they were moved 3 Days after he was drafted

Russy was legit trash 60% of last season I swear you nikkas don’t watch games :mjlol:

Not to mention he’s a horrific fit on the Lakers so what the fukk makes them a super team. It’s not exactly an unbeatable team they aren’t favored over the field. Nothing about this team is unfair in comparison to the league. Bron and Russy are on the back end and AD is injury prone. As of now they have zero shooting or depth.

shyts funny say the Lakers got Lowry and traded for Buddy Hield which would make them a far better team—not a super team.

They trade for a washed, ill fitting Russy—super team.

:dwillhuh:

Man said cats dont watch games…..but left out Russ having a Torn Quad….the agenda is so transparent :russ::mjlol:

You're hoping that being a 3rd option causes him to perform in a way that he's never performed his entire career? Even on stacked OKC teams his efficiency was terrible.

In their WCF run in 2011 he shot 39% from the field, 29% from 3pt, and averaged 4.6 turnovers/game.

In the Finals run in 2012 he shot 43% from the field, 28% from 3pt, and averaged 2.3 turnovers/game.

from 2013-2016 (with KD and Ibaka on a very competitive team) he averaged 41% from the field, 28% from 3pt, and 4.2 turnovers/game

So his efficiency was ass long before he went solo. Maybe you can hope that he replicates that 2012 run (a full decade ago!) but even then his eFG% of 46% is still awful.
