Three all nba level players on the same squad is how I’ve defined it…Bron and AD were seen as top 5 after the bubble chip and Russy, after shaking what appeared to be injury and covid rust, was playing all nba level ball as recently as a couple months ago

Russell Westbrook for All-NBA 2020-21

Just as much of a super team as the nets…now how they’ll actually perform on the court together is a different story…but that’s the difference between a successful super team and a failed one…we play the games for a reason

They are. They are not a great superteam, but still a super team.

3 players that are all number 1 option players that have led teams to the playoffs, several times
2 MVPs between them
AD is in his prime, Westbrook is still in his prime (end of his prime, but still in it), and LeBron is technically past his prime but still easily a top 10 player in the league and still a better athlete than most of the players in the league.

It fits the critera :yeshrug:

Super team by definition, yeah. But there's grey area because of poor fit

By "super team standards" this is one of the lowest ceiling super teams built with the lowest also built by the Lakers - Kobe/Dwight/Nash

At the end of the day they'll win or lose off what they get from LeBron/AD, in that sense they're no different than last year

Like if Denver with Murray back knocked them off or if they lost to the Clippers with Kawhi, would you be more shocked than if KD/Kyrie/Harden were all healthy and still ended up losing to somebody in the East? That's the difference.

Lebron damn near 40 but the lakers are a super team. I thought everyone said houston wasn’t a super team because barkley, drexley, hakeem and pipen were old.

yall really are some dikksuckers....

First off, the four guys you named never played together.

Secondly, the first year that Hakeem, Chuck and Drex played together, they were all old as fukk and STILL won 57 games and made the conference finals. The second year Hakeem only played half the season.

Third, AD isn't old, DUMBASS. In 99 Scottie at 33 was the youngest out of the "Big 3". None of them even averaged 20 ppg. Whereas Bron at 36 still puts up big numbers and at 33 RW still averages a triple double.

So it's not comparable to the Rockets of that time. You nikkas are retarded.

Barkely, hakeem and drexler

then Barkely took a pay cut and for pippen. It was Pippen, Barkely and Hakeem.

Also, AD couldn’t finish last season amd always injured and like I said earlier Bron damn near 40 (36)

Drexler was 34 and both Barkley and Olajuwon were 33

The 33-year-old Pippen joined Barkley (34) and Olajuwon (35)

@JACK! you say only casuals look at RW as a star so whats up with your boy? He and AD are casuals??
Ya'll always shyt on Bron for his GM capabilities. He goes for the big names instead of the best players/best fit. Lowry would have been a better addition than Westbrook.
Should be the favorites tbh

I still don't understand why someone of Lebron's stature isn't viewed as the favorite no matter what
You don't understand why a 37 year old isn't the favorite when there's another team of three all-NBA players in their prime?

@Rhakim HAS ACTUALLY SAID IT BEFORE

:francis:

Keep making up shyt breh. :mjlol:

How could I even say that "Bron has never had a superteam" when I point out that "superteam" has zero real meaning? I already proved that you just change the definition from season to season depending on however your stan beefs are best served.

Why is that lol? The list of players whose teams wouldn't dream of trading them for KCP, Kuzma, and Trez is even longer than that.

-WESTBROOK AVERAGED A TRIPLE DOUBLE N BALLED THE FUCC OUT POST ASB
Then turned around and shot 33% from the field and 25% from 3pt with 4.2 turnovers/game in the playoffs. Put up lines like 7-17 with 6 turnovers, 2-10 with 4 turnovers, 3-19 with 4 turnovers, etc. Lost 4-1 to a flawed Sixers team and in the three closest games his team was -29 when he was on the court and +13 when he was off the court.
