This was not a good year by any means, though Cena's superman booking made his matches more interesting because his haters were more vocal and someone beating him felt like a bigger deal.

oh yea that Cena and K-Fed feud was actually kinda dope. K-Fed was putting in work on that mic and actually took it seriously. He is one of the most underrated dudes from outside of wrestling.

That Cena vs. Umaga match was the best match of their careers... even though it didn't top RR Foley vs. HHH|Rock :cac:

Nah, look at Cena pre-pec injury and post-pec injury. He was at least putting on consistently good PPV matches from 2006-2007, after the pec injury he reverted back to formula more than ever.

And his promos DID get worse and more horrible.

Match wise he was more consistent but promo wise he's the same. Same complaints he's getting now he was getting back then.
