yall put some respek on Fab's name. For him to be relevant up to this point ain't a slouch thing to do. It's true that punchline rappers age like dog sh*t but Fab can go on a different route and his flow sound fresh as for Cass, he never switched it up and it always sounds like he's stuck in 05. Fab has a bag where he can do songs with Rich Homie Quan and Lil Uzi, make it sound natural and come right back to trade bars with Dave East. Fab is one of those rappers that sound natural on anything, the faq is disrespectful sh coming from?? :camby:

Yeah i'll say that he doesn't have that ONE CLASSIC ALBUM, but the singles we're strong enough to carry him through the decades. The freestyle friday series with DJ Clue showed you exactly what he is capable of, and yes he's a better rapper than Wayne. Wayne just has the bigger machine behind him but Wayne has his fair share of corny lines so we won't even let these bozos cook with that angle. The difference is Fab is straight with the flow and Wayne hung on to that autotune to the point he accidently created clones of THAT STYLE that ruined most of hip hop. It made mfs say "damn, i can do the same as well". Real lyricist wanted to be as versatile as fab and the ease he made it look to make commercial singles. THATS THE DIFFERENCE between him and his peers from that era, he KNEW how to knock them singles out the park and his peers sizzled after a short run.

That punchline about a random sports reference from last week on a mixtape style aged like shyt.

Fab, Buddens, Cassidy all relied heavily on those type of bars

Fab albums are generic garbage.

None of his albums can touch Carter 1-3.

They can’t even touch Carter 5 😂

Fab doesn’t have a “money on my mind” or “hustler muzik” type song.

That punchline about a random sports reference from last week on a mixtape style aged like shyt.

The only ones that evolved past that style into better artists are Banks and Budden, and Joe is a retired rap analyst and Banks is an underground, niche acquired taste himself

Fab was supposedly the NY answer to Waynes dominance with the punchlines, my family is from up North I know first hand East Coast had Fab on a PEDESTAL like he was really HOV junior for a couple years....

That thread @LOOPY made about Wayne was facts, made me revist all those dudes from that era

I will say like others have said, Soul Tapes and Summertime Shootouts series >>> compared to his earlier shyt...but even those tapes aint fukking with a Love Lost from Budden or a Halloween Havoc, or Ransom Chaos Is My Ladder... or even rappers who arent as slick as Fab (Griselda, RJ Payne) putting out stronger mixtapes in todays era than his supposedly legendary run

Like it sound good... sorta... but he really dont be rapping about shyt and he tries to do these fake Southern flows that he cant really hit (French Montana non rapping ass could actually deliver in those pockets)

Compare anything Fab said to that... power from the hockey mask, James st. Patrick, 3 bodies in ONE NIGHT... thats a HAT TRICK :banderas:

Thats a motherfukking BAR

Fab is a journeyman, who gets alot of respect cause he held his hood down but hes not a monster like that imo...

cassidy is not more skilled then fab when it comes to lyrics

Post a Fab song I probably got an answer for that lyrically from Cass, not even trying to be funny and I think Cassidy is practically unlistenable outside of a few songs or when he does his concept "Me vs Myself" records... something Fab also lacks

I've always taken him more as a pop artist and simply appreciated him as such.

Wayne & Fab shouldn't be in the same convo frfr.. yea they're both punchline rappers, but Wayne on a different tier overall. Cassidy is also better than Fab if we're strictly talking punchlines and bars.
fab already proved that wrong on 6 minutes he easily had the better wordplay on that song.
