Well, he definitely wanted the win, because no matter how much the Kliq cooks up their own legacy, they always hated that they weren't even close to Hogan's league on the grander scale. And that's why they were annoyed the following Summerslam when Hulk stole the show again and got the biggest pops. :win:

A few thoughts from IHY the Great

1) That was a great time to be part of TSC. The board war was fun.
2) Hulk sonned the Kliq on that backstage politics shyt. You can't fukk with that man. Or at least you couldn't back then. fukk your win back, muhfukka. Chris Masters for you.
3) Got the most Summerslam buys since the Attitude Era and hasn't topped that number since.
4) HBK did the overselling thing, but there's no chance Hogan really gave a fukk. Probably didn't notice or even think anything was wrong with it. Probably thought he was bumping great for him.
5)

Yup on all accounts. The filed and understood movement started during these run of hbk losses :heh:

I will never understand how wrestling fans thought what Michaels did was acceptable in anyway.

It was very childish by him and downright embarrassing. Makes the business a mockery.

Years later Triple H and Michaels are still upset over this. And you want to know how? Because Triple H is feeding lines to Michael Cole/Lawler over Hogan whenever they mention his name on Raw.

Do you see Hogan talking about this ever or complaining or anything? No. Let's be honest, in the grand scheme of things, Michaels and Triple H are not even close to be in Hogan's league in anyway, and it really pisses them off.

That's the power of the Hulkster brothers, I felt HBKs selling accurately depicted Mr. Bolea's strength
