Last year this time, there were countless Heatles threads and roasting of Lebron. Now that old boy has won and shut up those white boys in the media, the spotlight on the heat is not what it was a year ago. As a result the coli heat hate is not on full blast.

Sports writers say player A is GOAT, player B is top 10, Player C does not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame etc etc. Many of you just take it as gospel and run with. Understandable that you did not watch that era, but why base your opinion on some :skip: sports writers who have never played the game?


I won't even touch on things like Kobe, MJ or whatever ridiculous storylines that are out there that is based not on actual games watched, but force fed ESPN stats and revisionist history

I agree with this somewhat. I definitely think that the media promotes "the good ole days" syndrome, where you can't possibly entertain the idea that a player in the present can possibly be better than a player from the past that older people grew up with.
