How they find out?tbh i just remembered that drake ain't the only one taking other people's verses. i know an incident where a very popular ny rapper stole one of my homies verses off of youtube and then used the entire verse on the BET cypher. this was back in 07. i'm not trying to start any shyt but it's probably happening more than you think.
How they find out?
I don't want to name names at the moment because it would open another can of worms and distract everyone from the main issue.
8 years later?I don't want to name names at the moment because it would open another can of worms and distract everyone from the main issue.
STFU p*ssy.
Name names or don't waste my time. fukking read that whole novel you wrote and not a single name.
Someone stole a whole song from me once, I just can't tell you who
8 years later?
If it didnt come out BACK THEN..why would it be a issue now.
See..yall PART of the problem, by letting that shyt slide..

As an artist who writes his own stuff and writes for others, I say there is nothing wrong with having Ghostwriters. The main reason I even wanted to do hip-hop is because of Dr. Dre & Puff Daddy and its no secret they did not write their own stuff. However, it was no secret their goal was to make classic songs, which is what they did. So as long as the outcome was classic, they did whatever it took to get there, including bringing in writers. More power to them. The only issue I have with the Drake/Meek situation is even tho I know Drake to be a master writer, it just wasn't made apparent that he reached out to others at any point in his career. It might come off as unnecessary but I put it in the same category of performance enhancement drugs for sports. If you gonna play with them, let everyone know so we can still respect you for your contributions to the game before hand. However, if there is an aura authenticity with your work and even a smudge touches it before you let it be known; your whole career can be called into question.
In every other genre they have singer/songwriter. In hip-hop Rapper usually means both. I guess now we have to separate the two in hip-hop like rapper/songwriter.
Be intimidated by nikkas who listen to Drake brehs
WHat was the point of mentioning it then?
if she wanted to out him she could've. what the fukk i look like outing a nikka and then she doesn't want to post the video or admit it. if i say his name that ain't gonna do shyt. if my homegirl doesn't want the attention then she's never gonna tell what happened.
