Did that dude really say Trump is better on North Korea?
:dead:

A policy that hasn't worked at all and has made the world less safe
:dead:

These people are delusional. It's hilarious. On one hand, democrats who support liberal policies aren't "pure" enough because they don't agree 100% with Bernie. On the other hand, Trump is "sounding more like a liberal" because he winks and nods at universal healthcare while doing absolutely nothing to achieve it (and instead actively works to ensure it'll never happen, via the courts).
Having a foreign adversary agree to a nuclear disarmament deal is better than not despite your judgement of effectiveness, it sets a standard of behavior.
And Trump didn't basically extend Medicare to Corona virus victims? I thought he did.

From the first article:
"If confirmed, it would be the North’s first cruise missile launch in about three years, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, citing department rules."
Sounds like it was working until very recently.

”All the recently tested missiles were short-range and didn’t pose a direct threat to the U.S. mainland. A test of a missile capable of reaching the U.S. homeland would end North Korea’s self-imposed moratorium on major weapons tests and likely completely derail nuclear diplomacy with the United States.

And they didn't do enough to detail negotiations. Imagine if no type of diplomacy was occurring like previous to Trump what they would be doing?!

There was no deal, it was bullshyt and NK has broken the discussed terms ever since. Multiple missile launches. Experts warned Trump that all Kim wanted was to sit at the table and look equal to a US president. He got the photo op and declared victory.

Extend Medicare to corona victims? What are you talking about. The government is paying (providers i.e. hospitals) for testing at Medicare rates, that's it. Trump has claimed copays are being waived but they aren't...people are still getting hit, plus with deductibles. It's hilarious watching how quickly "liberals" will cheer a half assed fraudulent Trump policy while claiming any democrat with a Medicare-for-all plan outside of Bernie is lying.

You should reply to @Pressure he just posted a tweet that says they hadn't done anything in three years and hadn't violated self-imposed constraints or blown up on going negotiations. :yeshrug:
If you care more about photo ops than peace negotiations I would just say we have different priorities. :francis:

Your claim was that Trump's policy has led to nuclear disarmament.

Not only have not agreed to nuclear disarmament, they are continuing to finance nuclear ambitions, and engaging in test that they had previously stopped.

Thank you for putting it on display how stupid you all sound for supporting Trump on NK.

See above, I claimed no such thing. I said they had an agreement done, not that they had adhered to it. Nice they tho. lol

You said NK agreed to a "deal." They didn't. It was a joint signing agreement that said both countries would work towards denuclearization in the region, peace, and a return of POW remains. None of that has happened. NK dismantled some missiles yet started firing ballistic missiles shortly thereafter. You point to cruise missiles not being shot...but NK's ballistic missiles can reach Alaska. So what exactly are you arguing? You clearly put no thought or research into this topic and came in here to blindly say Trump is for peace. You know, like Trump trolls/supporters tend to do. Meanwhile the entire NK policy has failed.

You then said Trump implemented M4A for coronavirus. He didn't.

I can't even fault Trump 100% for NK. NK is an unreliable negotiation partner, and Kim is a madman. The problem is that Trump gave away too much for nothing. Kim wants to be seen as a world leader, which is why the summit was so important to him. We've had two so far, and at each he has refused US conditions on disarmament. Nothing gets achieved but Kim gets to show the photo ops on national tv and claim he's the man.

NK is getting hit by coronavirus right now. Trump has offered assistance...which is actually a good idea. So far NK has refused to acknowledge the virus is (allegedly) ravaging the country and instead has started firing missiles. They want another photo op, another infusion of money, etc. Trump is probably desperate enough to give it to them without achieving anything, again.

Yeah, I said they agreed to a deal not that they followed thru and it is better than not having one which what was the norm before Trump. Thus him being good on N. Korea. Do you think it is bad to negotiate some type of accord with N. Korea despite the chance there will be a photo ops or nah?

Forgive my verbage they had an agreement. And my point is having an agreement and negotiating a deal is better than what we were previously doing which is Kyle's point.
The NPR article I posted says he did extend Medicare to pay for Covid treatment for people not insured. Is NPR lying?
