It's easy to produce reality TV. It literally costs a fraction compared to creating new programming with actors. It's not that people wouldn't watch drama/comedy. They do. But if networks see that they can get the same number of eyeballs on shyt that costs a lot less that's what they are going to do..

Blame the 18-34 crowd which we are all in. We are the target audience for all programming these days because we are the ones that are going to buy the products in the advertisements. It's mostly women, though.. I have never seen a guy discuss Kardashians, Duck Dynasty, etc..

I don't think it I would have much of a problem if Reality TV was actually....reality. But the fact that it's scripted and fake, and people know that.....smh
