There's no way to extrapolate that time and imprint it onto present day.

It was just a whole different mindstate back then.

Back then, even the hardest cats had SOME spirituality/intelligence/racial pride about themselves.

They were the children born out of a time where "freedom fighters"/black nationalism was at an all time high.

The 80's made them more rugged, but they were wayyyyy more conscious than the present generation.Stronger minds imo.

That's why Nas could drop an Illmatic as a Teen.....Pac writing songs like Brendas Got A Baby at 19

It's 50 year old rappers who couldn't pull that off today.

Present day is just a shell of the past.Watered down, commercialized bullshyt.

Back then, it wasn't about simping for chicks....it was more about racial pride. You could call a black woman a Queen "Mother Of Civilization" and not be on some sucker shyt

I guess this would be looked at as the " :cape:"/ simp anthem today?

You got to put yourself in today's mindset. If Pac was one of the current generation rappers he'd be getting shyt on left and right. Not saying he wouldn't have his fanbase but I could only imagine the types of threads the coli would be making on him

Exactly how does taking classes to be good at your line of work take away from one's credibility?

People clown Drake for being a jewish kid from the suburbs and starring in a canadian teenage soap opera. That's it.

Pac's movies and acting skills were actually good.

nikkaz hate, but don't won't to read up on the nikka they're hating on!

A good hater does their homework.

Pac only attended the Baltimore School For The Arts for ONE SEMESTER.That's what, 3 or 4 months?

During that time, he was poor as fukk.Only had one pair of pants and a single wife beater.People at the school would donate him clothes because he was basically the poorest kid at the school.

That was during the time Afeni became addicted to crack.Jada Pinkett said Pac was living in a house with no electricity, no food, and only had a single mattress laying in the middle of the living room.

It's not the case of a upper middle class kid from an affluent background transforming into a hardcore rapper.

The nikka struggled like every other black kid raised in poverty. He only got into that school for a semester because his mom was supremely gifted with the gift of gab.She basically talked them into giving Pac a shot

He had way more range than Cube who basically just plays himself

Not only that, I don't think Pac would've stopped being a "voice for the people"...it was who he was...in his blood.

I think Cube just did it(that pro black/revolutionary skeez) for the marketability back in the days.Khalid Muhammad checked his ass about it.

Cube was a valley boy....never really been thorough like that.

Don't let the Clowns With Attitude hype fool ya

He kinda has a point. Pac did take acting classes. nikkas would be quick to bring that up as proof of him being a fraud
Pac shot two cops, beat up one of the hughes brothers(the other one ran!), and beat up a shooter in Orlando Anderson. And
you say he was acting? :dahell:

put all that to the side for a second and lets act like Pac wasn't around in the 90s. If Pac was a relatively new rapper the coli would call him out.
Just like if coli was around back then on the internet of course nikkaz would talk shyt from behind a computer. But real question is would they say it to his face? :sas2:
