U call it hatin i call it the fuking truth
.... U 1 ov these pac fans that take everyword he said as truth aswell and gobble it up as gospal ...
.... Like i said pacs the greatest rapper but u cant seperate the nikka from the music ....
I don't take shyt as gospel....I don't even take the gospel as gospel.
I don't think Pac was the" realest"or the "most thuggest" or none of that shyt....Nobody is.Life is full of contradictions.Especially for a young black male. The world will test any conviction/principal you live by.
You grow up in a war zone for the most part.
But I do think Pac had a warriors spirit that just so happened to spill over into other phases of his life.A rebel without a cause.Searching for battles. The gangbanging thing never surprised me.The "movement" was literally right across the street from gangs,Gangs were born out of the movement, specifically Pac's generation. Some of the cats raising hell in the 80's/90's were the children of Freedom Fighters.Their families got torn apart all the same.Dealing with that pain, they turned to the same vices as everyone else.
Pac already had a gang mentality. The only thing that kept him from turning that way was the brilliance/wisdom of his mother.Anybody who was around Afeni would tell you that, even when she was doing crack, she was still the sharpest strongest woman they ever met.She wasn't a back alley/crack house/"Pookie" type addict. She was still putting in work.
Once Pac broke free of her matriarch, we saw where he went.Born leader with nothing to lead.Nowhere to really funnel all that excess energy.People talk about gangs, but they have some semblance of structure power. It's the closest thing to having a "military" in the black community. It's easy to see how a nicca with a "war like" mentality like Pac could be seduced by that element. On a genetic level, Pac was groomed/had the pedigree to "fuse" those elements together. Most niccaz can't do that. Then they hate on something they don't understand or have an extensive knowledge of.That's why nobody has been able to sew those two elements together like Pac.That "revolutionary, but gangsta" shyt. That's why I say stop hating on a niccaz gifts.
He was born with the charisma/gift of connectivity and groomed by his environment to do it.That's why no nicca can really copy his style. They all come off like cheap imitations. That revolutionary shyt was bone marrow deep with Pac.It wasn't something he happened to pick up after reading a Final Call Newspaper like Ice Cube.He never claimed to be the "teacher" like KRS or the "Preacher" like Chuck D....Pac just gave you his life. His music reflected humanity more than any other rapper. His brilliance was that he was SIMPLY HUMAN....From the expression of love to rage.....Who conveyed it like Pac?
The music beef shyt was just distractions.I don't think it had anything to do with who Pac was at the core. And honestly, I bet it was some shyt he wish he could've blown off.In that regard, I think his loyalty got him in trouble.I think he really wanted to make Death Row the biggest label in the world out of loyalty to Suge and what Suge did for him.Personally, I think him and Suge were really down with each other, but that alliance did him in.
