I completely disagree. Rea ting violently is illegal and can get you in bad situations. In a society a person should be free from having to put their freedom on the line to not be harassed.

I went through that too much as a kid, kids bullying me, i beat the shyt out of them, and get punished by the school and my parents for being violent. Too much of that made me become passive until late high school, because it was not worth it to me to have everything restricted from me to retaliate to bullying.

if we cant give people the right to be violent as they see fit for justice, we have to protect against those things people might react violently to in the first place.

The world would be a better place I think if we did learn to have some backbone. A lot more respect would be thrown around and less bullshyt would happen. I get the urge to treat some one like they ain't shyt if I can't respect them or they come off as weak. Not saying pick on people or attack them. Just defend yourself dammit.

There is nothing wrong with teaching someone to stand up and combat someone on their terms. If they are threatening violence, a child needs to know and respond accordingly. Ain't nothing wrong with taking an ass whooping. Rather that than getting your self esteem taken everyday because a bully has your number, no cell phone.

Kids need less internet.

some bullying is fine, most of us have experienced it in some form at some point in our life and it typically makes you a stronger/better individual for having gone through it. But some bullies go WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY WAYY too far and can cause permanent psychological damage. My feelings were I'd rather fight back once and get my ass kicked then continuously get bullied.

This is a tough issue.....Every year you'll see kids committing suicide, or other troubling behavior over alleged 'bullying'. Intimidating, harassing the helpless and weaker is some coward shyt, but mostly everyone in here has been teased, or 'bullied' at some level, no matter how tenuous or brief....I've never been 'bullied', in the traditional sense, where I dreaded going to school, or having to kick up lunch money or some shyt, but I remember being teased here or there by some fukk, and a group of older kids on the block who would bother my friend and I when we walked by, no big deal, just teenagers bothering some12 year olds.

And I remember teasing and bullying kids too, here and there, I wasn't some menace... I threw dirt in some kids face, in the neighborhood when we were like in 4th grade, there was 3-4 of us making fun of him, talking shyt, and I just threw a handful of dirt in this kids face, right in his eyes, and he started crying and ran home...Had to say it was an accident later, when he came down with his mom. But, the way I came up, we all talked shyt to each other, all my friends, all their family, we clowned everyone and everything, and I have a quick temper, and was quick to hit someone, or throw a basketball at them, basically standing up for myself. Not everyone is like that, and it's easy to emphasize with kids who are bullied, because we can all remember what it felt like at that age. I don't think kids are crueler or anything now, then they were when I was a kid, or 50 years ago. It's an interesting topic, I can't say whether it's 'real' issue, or just some shyt everyone has to go through.

Well, there aren't many people telling them how to OVERCOME bullying and to be better people. Brawn alone isn't going to solve shyt. Since no one encourages person or self development anymore and handling shyt as a community, we break down and become primitive cavemen.
