Let me tell you a story.

I asked my boy, who is Latino, about a job.

He told me to go to this place. I went and it’s basically a construction staffing and contracting agency. Everyone up in there? All Latino. Greeter? Latina. Managers? Latino. Everyone there is Hispanic. The company they help staff? It’s called Marek and it’s also full of Latinos. They are taking care of their own I’m telling you. I have never seen black folks hold each other down like that since the 90’s or 00’s. In order for us to overcome we got to look out for each other.

The hard truth that no one wants to hear

It’s been a wrap for blacks in America ever since slavery tbh. Sure we had time to fix it but the white man has too much control in America. A black man can be rich but will have a hell of a time being wealthy without sellling out or catering to the white man at some point in America.

My positive outlook though is you have 1.5 billion black people on the planet vs 850 million white people on the planet. We need to be less tribal and stop all the FBA vs other blacks nonsense. We stronger together.

Here's the thing, cacs hate each other, all these bloody wars between them in history until today confirm this. However, they're on code against other groups.

Black people are too receptive and naive, until we practice the same we won't get out of the bottom

Nah we aren't doomed. We are about to relive the 1880s-1920s most likely with Latinos playing the part similar to immigrant Italians and East Europeans last time. We were much closer to being wiped out then--there weren't even 10 million of us then as opposed to 40+ million now.

For all the hell we went through in that period we made educational and economic progress that set the stage for Civil Rights later. We are going to have to remember to survive without the system.

It will fukking suck though since America back then had rapid economic growth while we are facing the opposite now.

I agree...but sometimes it's just us facing reality and realize how fuked up the world is and how black folks don't have the safety nets that whites and other races have. We are also heavily stereotyped and not given grace like white males.

Listen to the social media rhetoric from Cynthia G deciples and divestors who have an intense hatred and disgust for black males. A white male can be dusty and bummy asf and still be elevated.

However, with all I said...no excuse for us brothas to not try to do better and become a better group of men. Even tho we don't own or dominate an industry...we need to improve our unemployment stats.

One thing I notice blacks have an area to dominate besides sports and music ...a lot of black funeral homes are starting to service other races including the Hispanic population in our country. Also, thr barber field is another thing I notice where we have other races wanting a nice line up. Yes, there are latino barbershops...but something about a black barbershop is that niche top tier social environment. We also can more into the toupe/man wig field which is growing. I don't wanna wear no fake hair but black men can tap in that market too. But we need a blue collar trade and white collar industry to get in and try to dominate. Hispanics are dominating trades and roofing/construction.

You can’t shame them into factoring your needs into their voting because they’re not you lol

Black people don't control a single industry…That’s why when we get violated the only recourse we have is to bytch & moan because we don’t have the positions to say “I’m not servicing whomever”

Whatever inroads were to be made had to have happen post Civil Rights movement. Yes I know all of the obstacles that we were confronted by but that doesn’t change the fact the world hadn’t formed the way it is now

I've said it multiple times here. The last few years exposed a lot. When critical race theory was being removed in school districts across the country, there was no black objections or hurdles cacs had to overcome. No different than DEI. Currently have hold 4% of the nation's wealth. Probably even lower if you exclude black immigrants and Latinos have already passed us starting businesses and having an economic impact.

Yeah but look at all the threads where we advocate Black business and people whine about the one Black contractor they had a bad experience with and they have to use Hispanics. The buyer is as much to blame as those not organizing business.

I voted Harris and still disagree. Once folks income bracket changes, so does their priorities. They will more than likely vote for the candidate that's favorable to their wealth. That is nothing new.
