Whatever inroads were to be made had to have happen post Civil Rights movement. Yes I know all of the obstacles that we were confronted by but that doesn’t change the fact the world hadn’t formed the way it is now

Democrats tried to keep them happy and for their efforts they were rewarded with that same group voting for someone who has expressed contempt for them and now plans to deport them.

They are not the focus and they see themselves as white. The fate of black people in America is also tied to our economic situation. If democrats take a radical FDR like perspective and create a new deal that explicitly includes black people in it, they'll get the votes they need.

For the next 4 years people whether they like it or not will need to survive by building and strengthening power networks. Mutual aid, horizontal power, and direct action are necessary. They are not going to dismantle those camps when they're done using them to send Latinos across the border. Keep that in mind.

I asked my boy, who is Latino, about a job.

He told me to go to this place. I went and it’s basically a construction staffing and contracting agency. Everyone up in there? All Latino. Greeter? Latina. Managers? Latino. Everyone there is Hispanic. The company they help staff? It’s called Marek and it’s also full of Latinos. They are taking care of their own I’m telling you. I have never seen black folks hold each other down like that since the 90’s or 00’s. In order for us to overcome we got to look out for each other.

It never was. There's a reason why even in the Caribbean, a large number of the countries are run by the handful of Indians, Chinese, jews, whites and Arabs even though black people outnumber them by alot. Controlling economic and political power is far more important than raw numbers.

As I said, radical action is required.

The new deal was radical action.

Agenda 47 is the opposite of that(radical action from a white supremacist perspective) and it's what Trump plans to put into motion.

If the country finds its brain and it's spine, it will reject Trump and the shyt he has made everyone suffer through over the next 4 years and a radical leader will take power to undo all that bullshyt.

The days of moderate, incremental change are over. We are looking at top to bottom reform that will need to happen to get the country on track after this white supremacist and his supporters completely tank the economy and kill millions of people either directly or indirectly with terrible Healthcare policy and no worker protections.

Certainly much more grim than some of you are letting on.

There are really only two ways for minorities to gain power/respect:

• Group economics (aka Black Pride)
  
  • Building as a unit. Having pride in each other. Probably the easiest route for us to take.
  • Unfortunately this has been losing steam heavy since the early-90's. And from some of the TikToks that I see from Gen-Z, this may get even worse.
• Everyman and family for themselves (e.g. Asians, Hispanics)
  
  • Being selfish and maximizing for your own is another method.
  • However, this requires folk to value conventional families,who are hyper focused on their children's future.

And I am not entirely placing the blame on the community (although some). White supremacy requires a permanent underclass, so it profits in our discourse.

I just wish we would at least try to fight back

When a people can't vote in numbers against those that say they are against you and will attack institutions that you benefit from, it is not going to be good for the long term. Whatever happens, more black people need to vote and vote to ensure people are in charge, whether local, state or federal that will look out for them.

You can't say "politics do not matter" or "I am not into politics" then get mad when people move into your historic areas and use politics to their gain.

Western Europeans make up less than 10% of the world's population yet they still run the world.
