Buy a PC. A $700 console won't solve the issue as there will always me ever stronger hardware on PC. Plus what makes you think 1080p/60fps is the threshold for graphics? We on 4k/120fps boy step up broke boy

Breh got his CPU in that dee freezer clocking in that 4K 120FPS

The thing about consoles is that nobody is going to pay $700 for one so your suggestion thankfully won't ever be truly considered.

I know thats the case but these blogs, fans is getting a little to critical of this gen with shyt that is really for PC. Why are we worried about Fps and resolution. What happen to just playing games?

Another thing i hate about the industry is that certain games do not make it to the PC version. If you have a fine product working on a console, why not release it on PC for maximum quality?

Ubisoft is the repeat offender as they dumb down their games on PC purposely. Developers make more money on Physical than digital.

When you been gaming for 15+ years, you're more knowledge about game performance and how it affects the experience. If a game is choppy, Im not having fun playing it. And you also know how much better a game can be when it's 60fps instead of 27-30fps. Latest case in point: Dragon's Dogma PC.

That is understandable but I am referencing the crowd who makes it a big deal. Consoles been this way for decades why expected change now? Do people expect a PC like performance instead of a console performance now?

People are getting critical because of people selling pipe dreams with these consoles.

If 1080p60fps wasn't an advertised/pushed idea on consoles, it wouldn't be nearly as big a deal.

Look back on every new console and compare it to the one before and there are huge clearly visible leaps that we saw in the technology. PS4/X1 isn't the case. There are some awesome things being done on these consoles but not on the level of PS1 to PS2, or SNES to N64. People aren't seeing that, and add to THAT we have a ton of games being shown as some true next-gen shyt delayed, then hyped, then compromised(according to first appearances/reveals), then released and they're mediocre as hell. Of course you're going to have angry gamers. They pay for these next-gen consoles and aren't seeing consistent advertised/hyped up next-gen results.

If people want to game at 1080p60fps or higher, they HAVE to go the PC route.

True indeed sum it up perfectly. I have nothing to say.

The Xbox one got its shyt pushed in right away because it was $500.

It just doesn't work with this crowd.
that $500 price tag didn't exist in a vacuum though. it was seen as a less powerful system, that included a peripheral no one wanted (kinect). if it was $500, and significantly more powerful than the $400 PS4, I think it could have done better at that price point

I personally think $500 is the max limit a console can sell at, but the hardware has to be worth it for the next console that goes at that price point.

That's the price they SHOULD be, but no one will pay that price because wages have been stagnant for the past 20 years, hence why consoles have had the same price for about the same. Only way consoles will be that price is if wages somehow correct themselves for where they should be.

people got money. a lot of people thought no one would buy that $150 elite controller, and now it's sold-out everywhere

edit: I guess they shouldn't expect it to change since most console gamers have no problem with mediocre performance, or don't even notice it to begin with. And studios will only start to change the way they make games when it becomes it issue.

Ironically one of the most popular games among casual gamers, Call of Duty, might be so popular partly because it its 60fps performance. Casual gamers won't point that out or even know the games are 60fps, but it could be of the reasons they find the game so fun and keep playing it. The game is really smooth to play and just feels good.
