I don't see how anyone can co-sign the ban of used games. It's pure greed from these fukken companies. If this shiit happens, I hope anonymous hack the shiit out of these greedy fukks.

and this is f*cking ridiculous garbage youre typing.

its GREED that the people who spent months developing a product want to take 20$ from you, instead of seeing the mom and pop store down the street make 15$ off of you?

and the GAME companies are greedy?? :bryan:

because they want to be paid for their work?? :bryan:

you want to buy the game from gamestop for 19.99 instead of the psn for 24.99, and the GAME COMPANIES are greedy??? :bryan: :bryan: :bryan:

like mentioned, when digital is king- the console boys still have each other to compete with as well as the pc and handheld market. they also have to still compete with iOS and android (ouya). oh yea you will see games for dirt cheap. used games might be outta here but there will be plenty reasons not to care

Yes it's greed you dumb fukk. People are actually buying these games. No one is stealing anything. If a consumer buys a game, they should have the right to sell, trade, or do whatever the fukk they want with it. Now we're either going to be blocked or have to pay an additional fee that was free for the past 20+ years in this video game industry.

So you're saying I can't take my game to my boy's house? :beli:

My brother want's to borrow my game, he can't play it? :beli:

I bought Uncharted 4 at retail and no longer want it, I can't sell it? :beli:

Fukk it, let's just ban used goods in general. :beli:

Fukk outta here...

lol.

no man, thats not how it works.

its NOT a monopoly, because nintendo and microsoft exist.

can they collude? possibly. but this isn't exactly mass-consumer extortion were talking about here.

a video game is like, 50$ online, i wouldnt say youre on the wrong end of a bernie maddoff scheme.

lets say a company spends 3 million to make a game, they price it on the store at 60$, and they make 1.5 million back.

the market has spoken... no one else is going to buy the game at 60$. so they can either sit on their 1.5 MILLION dollar loss, or they could drop the price 10$ and see who bites. then drop it 10 more. then drop it 10 more. and on and on.

if YOURE buying games used, YOU have established a price point in your head that YOU think a game is worth. YOU can now wait until the game costs that much ONLINE, and buy it. and you know what, that's going to be on the developers terms now, yes thats true, but f*ck it, thats fair. i mean, they ARE the one selling the product you want to buy. if you want it sooner, pay more money.

Damn nikka get these companies dikk out ya mouth :rudy:

time takes care of all of this. You guys are paranoid as fukk.

Again, if people are not paying $70 for the games...guess what happens? You guys actually have a whole lot of buying power this way...you are just not used to it.

The majority of games I've bought this gen have been on sale. I don't even buy most games at launch anymore because I know a sale on it is likely to come a few weeks later :yeshrug:

But yeah I don't think I've bought a used game this gen. What I have done is sell games to help get a new one. And that's why banning used games would affect me.

yeah, i don't by any games at launch...wait 3, 6, 9 months and get it at 25% on Steam.

you guys are going to really love digitally distributed games. No more paying $54.99 for a "used game"...instead prices will go down VERY quickly. Hopefully somewhat like steam/GMG/Origin/others

you are all going to be like this :blessed: when your pre-loading options kick in.

where do u get this BS from...look at the prices of these downloadable retail games on PSN and Live marketplace..they are more than the physical used retail versions in the stores right now. why would that change?

they stayed that way because the majority still bought them on disc. It will change...its economics. Once sales start to slip these companies try looking for ways to get those numbers up. Companies need money and that will never change.

sign on to the network at his house, dl it there.

if you buy it at 60 and sell it for 40, the game had a net worth of 20 dollars to you. wait until the game goes on sale 2 years after it's release for 20$. if you cant wait, pay 60. if the game isn't worth 60 dollars to you, then do you really want it day one anyways--of course not. so waiting for it should be :manny: for you

Fukk it, let's just ban used goods in general. :beli:
the concept of "used" is really just a discussion of an item and its worth to you. if you buy something and want to sell it eventually, then you are technically just renting it anyways. you can say that you control the time you sell it at, so that gives you ownership, but really, the money owns you. its a weird concept to wrap your head around, but to what extent can you "own" a piece of media that was created by someone else? what do you "own"? just the right to USE something.
