2 Seasons is more than any Sony game IP has made it to so far. That’s on top of all the other movies, books, toys, comics, tv shows the game has had and will have on the future.

You realize sony have a whole entire tv division with shows like The Boys, Breaking Bad, Cobra Kai, etc?

And according to sony CFO they aren’t in on enough of those IP from the jump.

They purchase the rights to distribute those IP but the money is spread thin by all the people they gotta pay to make it happen.

Like right now Helldivers and spider-man are their biggest games by far, but everybody else is collecting money on those games.

Sony is taking all the risk, but collecting minimal profit on those games.
