He’s talking about IP they can make tv shows, movies, books, spinoffs, games etc with and make money off them.
Yes over the years sony has developed lots of IP. None of those really turned the corner into multimedia franchises they can print money with.
There’s TLOU and maybe uncharted, and that’s it. They are trying to turn horizon into one of those going forward.
You can have fond memories of sly cooper, but the reason there’s no new Sly Cooper content in 2024 is cause the game/franchise didn’t hit like you thought it did, and by sonys calculations it never will.
