In an olympic set up, never will a country truly compete with a serious USA team

the field is just too deep, even if those surging countries would have the necessary institutions, they wouldn't field half as many basketball players as there is in the states

Now if we're on some USA vs The World type of shyt, then yeah it'll definitly get closer and closer

i am surprise you understood what i wrote.. i dont. :whoo:

his is what my brain on 6 hours of overtime upgrading cisco routers does..

but back to the subject..

athleticism is universal provided you eat)..... training is not... th only change needed is training and many countries will catch up... were not talking about technology here.. were talking about performing physical activities...

lets be real, usa got beat in 04..... thats how close it already is.

Shiiiet, 10 years back it wasnt as dominant as it was the previous 10 years but they rebuilt. I'm sure other countries will come up but Im also sure they'll regroup

There isnt a basketball court in most places around the world so it wont be happening anytime soon. Only Spain, Argentina and a few European countries can come close. Remember, to be good at any sport, kids need to start at a very young age coz it takes a long time and many repetions to perfect your skills (this applies for any sport).

I think Brazil is the next basketball power.

Wait til they bring "samba" to bball.

They might not dominate soccer as much ...but maybe they will, with that population they'll have a deep talent pool in both sports.

Nah Brasil will never be a basketball power because they dont care about that much its not inbred into there culture, futbol is there tradition and thats just what it is.....

But the real REAL next basketball power is actually Canada....You wont see it altogether in 2016 BUT by 2020 you will see what i mean...

Wiggins
Kabongo
A.Bennett
Thompson
Stauskas

and theres about 5-6 players coming thru the local pipelines now you'll see i AAU ball next 2 years that will be top prospects going into the NCAA...

T.O. is poppin out future NBA stars right now as we speak...
