See, there goes that unfair standard of perfection that non-believers often choose to use against Christians

All the sudden we're supposed to be perfect people. We are all supposed to never sin again or fall into temptation or bad habits. The Catholic Church is a whole 'nother discussion but it still kinda applies.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say you aren't going to sin after becoming saved. It actually says you will be tempted even more and satan will constantly throw himself at you in different ways. What you are supposed to do is not let these lifestyle and habits dominate your life, to truly repent, be sorry and try to do better. To give glory to God first and not have idols in your life that are more important than him.

Easy to hate on religion...


Hard part is making it a part of your life. I'm Christian, but I still respect the way Muslims practice and are so devout with their faith. That's actually harder than HATING on it if you can believe that

Like, what's the problem, what do y'all have against Christianity so much? My church, and all the ones I've been affiliated with have NEVER been run like a "pimp" My pops is the pastor and he's a bible based faith based church with strong community action. We not the Potter's House, but we save souls and preach the gospel.

I would think cats would at least respect People of faith. It's easy to stay in bed on a SUNDAY and get a few more winks...but to get up, go to church and ACTIVELY live that Christian/faith-based lifestyle isn't easy (especially in this world) Nobodies perfect, neither is the church (it's run by man) but the basic principles are something we all should live by (no stealing, killing, help you brother/sister, respect your parents)

I understand that you have fanatics and people that twist the word up, but that's in EVERY segment in life...you always get a few rotten apples with the bunch, does that mean you stop eating apples? My church doesn't have ballers and all these single mothers ya'll speak of....are there some? Yes, but we are a close-knit faith and bible based church that will embrace you (or anybody) regardless of who/what you are, you're human and a sinner just like us...

ya'll act like this is the end, you will die if you believe in God. Why hate on something (even if you don't believe) that's given people hope, something to believe in, and live for? It has positive changes on people but we only wanna point out the fanatic or the hypocrites. Yeah they tell you about God, we're supposed to, just like you tell ya boy/girl about that new (whatever artist) song....

edit...all that talk about the pastor living it up...baloney...man I grew up poor...pops was going to school to get that doctorate and seminary, moms working full time holding the family down. We aren't any better off than any other member. My folks live a middle class life and are exceedingly happy. Hell, they often give what little they DO have to struggling members of the church...so it isn't some flash in the pan nonsense...its a lifestyle. We not all driving Bentleys and Benzes
