How am I overlooking anything...did I not post this:

What are you talking about?:dahell:

It says NOTHING in the 3 rules that "activity" or fighting at least 1 time a year plays a factor in determining your position:ufdup:

Yall HOPE they will remove SOG, but according to the rules...that's not something they take into consideration:umad:

So 2 yrs is recent past?
Dog I'm a Andre Ward fan, I don't go above and beyond to defend anybody
if you want to remain at the top you have to put in the work..simple!

i'll take it to the next level for you, within those 2 yrs A. Ward been M.I.A.
GGG has beaten
Ishida
Macklin
Stevens
Geale

that's 4 top 10 middleweights
all KO's

If you're an Andre Ward fan, why do you keep saying 2 years?:dwillhuh:

Andre Ward fought 10 months ago.

And what does GGG have to do with this discussion?:comeon:

it's been 2 yrs since he's had a major fight

Edwin Rodriguez was ranked #3 by the WBA at Super Middleweight when Andre Ward fought him:mjpls:

Nobuhiro Ishida was unranked by EVERY Organization (WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF) when GGG fought him

Matthew Macklin was unranked by EVERY Organization (WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF) when GGG fought him

Curtis Stevens was unranked by EVERY Organization (WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF) when GGG fought him

Daniel Geale was ranked #3 by the WBA and #5 by the WBO when GGG fought him.

Yet, you claiming he fought 4 top 10 middleweights:camby:

If GGG fought "4 major fights" then why is #3 ranked by the WBA, Edwin Rodriguez vs Andre Ward fight, not considered a major fight as well?:sas1:

Ward fought a guy ranked #3 just like GGG did:sas2:

and if you don't get what GGG has to do with the discussion then it's a lost cause homie

What does he have to do with the discussion at hand?

Are you upset he's not #2P4P and SOG is?:mjcry:

Every guy I named was ranked top 10 by Ring....Ishida even had a belt (I could be wrong)

RING Magazine doesnt supercede the organizations in ranking.

They dont even have a REAL belt to give out or sanction fights....only IBF/WBA/WBC/WBO organization rankings truly count.

You'll never see the "RING Champion" be forced or mandated to take on the #1 RING ranked challenger, because it's not a true organization. However, the WBC Champion can be ordered to defend his belt against the #1 WBC ranked challenger because it's an actual entity and receives sanction fees...and so forth for the IBF/WBA/WBO as well.

RING is good for mythical rankings, especially the Pound 4 Pound lists, but the only rankings that TRULY matter is the Major Organizations I listed above. That's how you get your title shots.

It used to back when it started.

However, RING Magazine is owned by Golden Boy Promotions now breh...Oscar De La Hoya owns RING Magazine:mjpls:

The only rankings that count is the ones that bring you to the front of the Championship race and that's the sanctioning bodies.

Again, what does being ranked by RING mean? You cant get a title shot based off of that ranking.

Would you rather be ranked #1 by the WBC or by RING? Would you rather fight for the WBA Championship or the RING Championship?:yeshrug:

RING is no better/different than ESPN or The TBRB forreal....and alot of people prefer TBRB over both of em:manny:

within those 2 years look at the bodies cats like Canelo,Rigo,GGG,Pac
have fought and beaten within that span
that's what you dude can't seem to comprehend....you can't go what looks like gonna be close 3 yrs without a big fight and still remain in that spot

I'm just as big of a Andre Ward fan as anybody, But real is real

Lettuce look at the "bodies" of said fighters in those 2 years

Ward -with one arm beats Froch who like him is now P4P ranked, first man to KO the lineal 175 champ and dominates top 4 ranked power punching Rodriguez after a year of inactivity and shoulder surgery

Rigondeaux- is the only one mentioned who was an underdog versus a P4P ranked opponent and emerged victorious and has 2 wins vs  opponents

Canelo batters Josesito Lopez at 154 who was coming off his first fight at welterweight, Wins a close fight with Trout, Is dominated by a smaller Floyd Mayweather
Defeats Angulo who like him is coming off a loss, then faces Lara the man who defeated Angulo prior and wins a fight many believe he lost

Golovkin's - Best win is Daniel Geale who in his previous HBO fight lost to Darren Barker who then had his career ended by Sturm in 2 rounds
Interesting tidbit during his HBO run Golovkin has yet to face a top 5 rated Middleweight yet you wanna rank him above Ward
floydwtf-png.941

Pacquaio- was coming off a victory over Marquez which was voted robbery of the year , loses a decision to Bradley then gets :deadmanny:
Faces Rios who like him is coming off a loss but at welterweight where Rios never fought, defeats Bradley and is again set to face another opponent at welterweight who has never fought at welterweight

Ratings are subjective but if you really believe those fighters and their recent "bodies" are worthy of surpassing Ward
Then I must reiterate my previous point you're a fukking idiot

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
He's clearly the second best fighter in the world, plus i hope he continues to fight in Oakland so i can keep buying tickets
I like Ward but he's only fought twice since 2011 though :ld:
Once against a drained Chad Dawson and he fought again against a jobber Edwin Rodriguez(LAST YEAR)... nothing is clear to me
