Dog you posted nothing anybody in the thread didn't already know
I started not to even respond to you but said Fukk it because it's slow at work
You're right Ward was a underdog going into the super 6 (really only against Kessler he would have been a underdog) But the fashion in which he won the tournament is what pushed him to #2 p4p
But that was almost 3 yrs ago, and within those 3 years all them dudes have shown their B level nikkas, and that's just my observation as a long time boxing fan

Friend that's your opinion but please don't be insulted when I call you a fukking idiot. I only call you that because you have the opinion of one.

Ward was not only expected to lose to Kessler who was the king of the division, Dirrell was the heralded amateur and of the 2 Americans in the tourney he was the one expected to do the best but neither was expected to win it. Ward not only dominated everyone of the premier 168's he beat Froch with one hand.
I don't subscribe to this imaginary letter rating system but I can't see Froch, Abraham and Kessler being "B Level nikkas" if they're still atop one of the deepest divisions in boxing. I mean Froch is on plenty P4P lists :heh:

Chad Dawson was weight drained and it was crazy obvious, I don't even know why he even did that dumb shyt...but even still I would have picked Andre if both were on their A game

Friend I'm no expert on weight rehydration but you fail to realize P4P ranked Chad Dawson wanted to face Ward at 168
There was talk that Dawson would fight at 168 if he beat Ward and Dawson also rehydrated to 185 come fight night
Dawson was the bigger man in the ring, P4P ranked higher than Ward, Dawson had come off beating B-hop, Dawson was called a bigger version of Floyd Mayweather during the leadup to the fight and he was the Lineal Heavyweight champion.
Ward dominated this man ^ and made him quit. If his resume is not worthy of being ranked behind Floyd then the spot should be vacant because noone you listed has a better one.

Again you typed all of that to say nothing....

Dirrell was never more heralded then Ward, I don't even know where you got that BS from
on top of that the 2 didn't even want to fight each other on some wack shyt

everything else you speaking on was how many years ago?
and that's what you dudes not comprehending....his last major fight was 2 yrs ago

within those 2 years look at the bodies cats like Canelo,Rigo,GGG,Pac
have fought and beaten within that span
that's what you dude can't seem to comprehend....you can't go what looks like gonna be close 3 yrs without a big fight and still remain in that spot

I'm just as big of a Andre Ward fan as anybody, But real is real

Yes you can...he's doing it:sas1:

And also, he's not ranked #2 by strictly resume, it's also because he's deemed the most unbeatable person in the sport of boxing NOT named Floyd Mayweather....pound for pound.

That's what you're not comprehending breh.

He's doing it for now, lol

And if P4P was based solely on talent the only person I would even consider outside of him would be Rigo

No debate into why he was ranked #2
but for how long can you rest on shyt you did going on 3 yrs ago
at some point you have to reinforce in the ring that status of P4P #2

now if you're rebuttal was it's too early to remove him from that spot, give it till next year, then I could understand that...

There's no rebuttal:yeshrug:

The pound 4 pound rankings guidelines are simple:

RATINGS POLICY

1.Results. This is the most objective criterion and takes precedence over all others.
2.Performance. How a fighter performs in a victory or defeat can be a factor to determine his place in the ratings.
3.Track record: A fighter’s accomplishments in the recent past can be a factor to determine his place in the ratings. That includes quality of opposition.

http://ringtv.craveonline.com/ratings

1. Andre Ward has never lost a match
2. He's deemed the most unbeatable person in the world outside of Floyd Mayweather. He's won all his fights by either KO or UD and his CLOSEST fight, he beat the current #8 P4P fighter in the world 118-110, 115-113, and 115-113.
3. His track record is impeccable. He wiped out his entire division and no one even wants to fight him again, because it's a lost cause. People dont even wanna move up and challenge him or move down and challenge him....though they'd do it for others.

By the Pound 4 Pound ratings policy, Andre Ward is more than deserving of his spot....and the fact that nobody calls him out is even more concrete evidence that he's just that damn good.

The only way he'll be removed from the #2 spot is if Floyd loses/retires.

How am I overlooking anything...did I not post this:

What are you talking about?:dahell:

It says NOTHING in the 3 rules that "activity" or fighting at least 1 time a year plays a factor in determining your position:ufdup:

Yall HOPE they will remove SOG, but according to the rules...that's not something they take into consideration:umad:
