The fukk is wrong with you? You look at only the points?

The 2006 pissedons were about top 5 in all defensive categories. Kobe's average was about 45 percent against them.

And if you want to compare Wade v. Kobe against the Larry Brown Pistons, you know how to do it.

TO me it seems he's just sloppy and lazy and lacks focus. As for being fortunate to play with Lebron? Kobe can't win with 3 hall of famers on his squad.

From watching both, I disagree. I guess we can leave it at that until Malta decides to chime in on the issue.

So, because kobe has "aged" better, this means his prime was better? This means he was always better? Quite frankly, when we are measuring players at their peak, durability isn't part of the question.

Take Kareem vs. Shaq. Shaq's prime was > Kareems. But Kareem "aged" better.

Take a look at the 2006 postseason. Kobe had 3-1 lead on the suns, then threw away the series in game 7 for god knows what reason. Kobe had 3 HOF players in 2004 and destroyed that team with senseless ball-hogging in the finals when Shaq was beasting.

I'm not sure how you can accurately measure Kobe when you don't account for his jaw-dropping stupidity while playing.

Wade is very much the opposite. He took a team of washed up garbage all the way to a championship in 2006. He played like a combination of Jordan and Kidd. He plays with Lebron and let's lebron dominate. Kobe played with shaq and couldn't let Shaq have his.

Kobe's stupidity is what will always hinder his career. I know the stans try to white wash his failures, but there's a reason he holds the record for most Field Goals all time, and most missed field goals in a single game. There's a reason he gets shut down by old ass point guards like Jason Kidd and Derek Fisher in the playoffs.

It's because he's just stupid and reckless. :manny:
Where did Wade take his team of 3 hall of famers in 2007? :comeon:

Why are you leaving out that half of the Lakers roster was out with injuries in the 2004 finals? Why were Slava Medvedenko and a rookie Luke Walton playing heavy minutes in those finals?

The defense that Kobe faced in 2004 was illegal in 2005. Wade did not play against the same Piston's defense ever!

Do you remember the 2007 heat? Do you remember what happened to that team?

More importantly, the 2004 lakers were, on paper >> 2006 heat. Shaq was dominating that finals.

KOBE WOULD NOT PASS HIM THE BALL. That's why he's a failure. If you can't admit that which was readily apparent, then there is no point in further discussion with you. Shaq was killing Ben Wallace and the Pistons front court, on the few occasions he touched the ball. ON the other hand, kobe was taking contested 28 foot shots over 2 defenders with 15 seconds on the clock.

That's your GOAT? A front-running failure who tries to ride big men to success, then steal credit at the last second?

You are being intentionally dense here. Why don't you compare them both in 2005 then? Why don't you compare all elite guards against the pistons in 2004-2006?

If you want to normalize the comparisons as much as possible, there are plenty of ways to do it. Instead you are missing the point entirely. To make it simple, i'll spell out my disagreement with you in big, bold, capital letters:

KOBE IS A fukkING IDIOT.

Wade is either old or lazy, possibly both. But D.Wade in his prime was :blessed:

Do you remember what happened to the 2004 Lakers? The roster was hit with injuries. Same as the 07 Heat. The only Laker that played well in the 04 finals was Shaq. I never said Kobe played well in that series.

If you think the 06 Mavs or 06 Pistons were as dominant as the 04 Pistons you are an idiot. They were allowed to play a defense that wasn't even legal a year later.

Of their important players, only Malone was out.

Everybody, including you, expected them to beat the pistons anyway.

THey probably could have won if KObe didn't ball-hog.

Either admit Kobe blew that series, or we don't need to continue this conversation.

PS: what goddamn rule change do you keep talking about?

So you expected Shaq to beat them by himself?

They had Kobe locked up and no one outside of Shaq were able to hit a shot.

Series was over once Malone went down.

Lakers were trash without him. Look at the regular season record with and without him.

and Kobe would have Miami undefeated right now :manny:

there are no plausible facts to plug into the what if time machine.

Kobe could not win with mike brown.
How, is kobe is supposed to unite bron, and bosh Better than wade with spo as coach.
Real talk,....
Brown is argueably a better coach than spo.
Kobe just created so much civil unrest thinking he knows more than anyone.
Which is what made brown look even worse.
Than his greatest equipment manager of all time label, I give him.
Real talk,....
Bron did way more with less than love with brown.
Than Kobe who had way more, with brown.
Spo was just in the right pace at the right time to win a title versus a new wave coach.
Spo lost just as brown did against a well prepared old guard coach.
I applaud last year's heat.
Yet spo, was not the reason for them winning like that at all.
It was more the will of the players.
The same will of the player, and coach.
Kobe sucked the life out of with his ego.
When, brown was with the Lakers.
