Yeah Ive seen this narrative because the new gimmick since Monday. All of a sudden you got these snot nosed hicks online saying it was overrated...it was overrated at all. It was BLOWING AWAY everything Austin and Cripple H did that night and made everyone forget about the Undertaker and all of that shyt too. The Rock's genius was on full display and it's bigger than the Austin beer truck segment, any nwo segment, anything Vince/Austin did....it's as overrated as Michael Jordan in the Finals..as Shaq/Kobe in the Finals...as Ali facing Frazier in MSG...

The Pipe Bomb is GREAT...a promo where a kid sits on the ramp whining about guys being pushed ahead of him because he can't cut it but the Rock making the WWF into MUST SEE television over the McMahon chosen star of Austin isn't? LMAO. Absurd. Preposterous. And it all made sense at the time..Foley was sucking up to the Rock week in and week out...then his little feelings got hurt over the book being thrown in the trash...it was a ploy to keep Rock out of the main event while they went with Austin and Cripple H...that didn't work apparently and they had to put the highest rated star in the industry at the time..higher rated than Austin/Taker/Goldberg/NwO/Hogan/Sting/Sid/ECW/DX...any of that shyt. He got put right back in the main event because a comedy segment he did got a 8.4 and the WWF title program wasn't popping like that. Insert Rock into Unforgiven and Survivor Series to keep the fans interested. That's not overrated. That's DRAWING fukkING MONEY and getting the job done. Something NO ONE TODAY is apparently capable of doing.
And Alexa wasn't bad at all..the crowd was just a joke and that's that. She didn't stumble, definitely improvised on the spot but no one cares about the fake actor shyt when they got to already deal with the Vince love affair for Roman Reigns. They're already getting bullied on Raw and no one wants to deal with any more horse $hit. PERIOD. That's why the reaction was so goofy.
