If there is no physical evidence and actual testimony that he intentionally shot Meg, why he is the only one going to the pen? Should Kelsey being going to jail too since there was a witness stating that she shot first? If anything, both of them should have face the same charges.
Also, the moral of this story is be aware of the people around you because they can be your downfall and control your emotions
