Boston has too many young players and picks. They would be wise to do pretty much whatever it takes to get it done while still keeping Bradley/Smart, Crowder, and Horford. Maybe try to keep next year's Nets pick and trade a future pick, but I would lean towards giving that up too, if they must.

Bama ass DC
Any team that he agrees to resign with pre-trade is also a team that would be a front runner come the offseason. Meaning you can keep your squad and get him later, or at the trade deadline when OKC will be more desperate and you can shortchange them

Praying for a 3 teamer getting him to SA or Cleveland. Can Cleveland send Love to say Boston, Boston sends picks to OKC and a wing to Cle along with Russy to Cle? Move Byrie to the 2, bring on G-State

Why would Boston wait for those draft picks to pan out and waste Horford's remaining productive years:manny:

Better to move them now for a player you can CONFIRM as great rather than rolling the dice :yeshrug:

Smokescreen smh.

Westbrook ain't gonna wanna go from an Oklahoma market to a Boston one. He won't re-sign.

the reason they chose the Celtics is because they know the Lakers have the best young talent to trade for, so they obviously tryna bait is into a trade by saying our biggest rival is gonna get the guy we realistically have a shot at.

No way he re-signs if he gets traded to Boston

Philly has the assets to trade for him :manny:

Philly and minnesota makes a lot more sense than boston

Philly has potential superstars and much more cap flexibility

Minny has 4 all star talents on rookie deals

If boston gives up the 2 nets picks then they cant put enough talent around russ to win it all

People are dumb. He is going nowhere this season unless it is San Antonio. Why would he go to a gutted team? The Celtics Do not have the roster to compete with the Cavs or Warriors.

The goal is to stack up to beat the Warriors, if he doesnt, he wasting his prime.

San Antonio and even Miami gives him that opportunity. If Bosh retire the Heat will have enough space to Get Westbrook, Griffin and Whiteside while still have young talents to surround them.

Timberwolves too. They got talent.
